Star Alliance member Turkish Airlines currently offers amazingly cheap flights to Sharjah (United Arab Emirates), an airport located just outside of Dubai. Starting from Billund, a roundtrip including two checked bags up to 23kg and full board service starts at incredible €218 / DKK1,757 !

As usual for Turkish Airlines connections, a layover in Istanbul is unavoidable. All flights in question are narrowbody services (A321 from Billund to Istanbul, Boeing 737-800 from Istanbul to Sharjah). Both models feature a 3-3 seating pattern in economy.

Search & Book

According to fare rules, this offer will be available until September 23, 2019. It covers flights happening before May 20, 2020. To score the cheapest tickets, you have to stay at least three days or one night from saturday to sunday in the UAE. Your trip may not exceed one month. At time of writing, availability is excellent during the entire travel period.

Best Time to Visit

In April and May, the temperatures in the UAE are around 30 °C and can even climb to just close to 40 °C. You usually don’t have to expect less than 25 °C, so you can always bring your bathing suit. In June, July and August, 40 °C are standard. The most pleasant travel months are December, January, and February when temperatures rarely climb above 25 °C.

You should know that the United Arab Emirates is a Muslim country. This means that Ramadan, the month of fasting, is strictly celebrated. There are usually no drinks and no food during the day, at least not in public. When booking offers during this period, you should keep that in mind.
