Maldives: All-Inclusive Villa at the Angsana Velavaru for €504 / Night (min. 5 Nights; incl. Transfers)

Angsana MLE Beach

It’s been a while since our last hotel deal for the Maldives. Currently, LuxuryEscapes has a good offer in its portfolio, charging €504 per night for a beachfront villa, with all-inclusive and transfers. The price is available until December 2025, and between April and June 2026, as long as you book at least 5 nights.

Info

You don’t necessarily need to decide on specific dates right away. LuxuryEscapes allows you to lock in the price and flexibly redeem the voucher until April 30, 2026, travelling by June 30, 2026. To do this, click on “Buy now, choose dates later” under the large “Check Availability” button.

The Beachfront Villa offers a bathtub, a complimentary non-alcoholic minibar (replenished daily), a desk, a view of the ocean, a private garden, a TV, a terrace, wi-fi, and more. In total, you’ll have 88 m2 to yourself.

The price includes free-flow drinks (incl. beer, cocktails, spirits, wine, mocktails, and more), as well as three meals a day. If you’re staying between May 1 and September 30, you’ll also get a free sunset cruise.

A highlight of this package is that the transfers are included. Usually, they cost US$555 (~€474) per person. These are 45-minute flights, between 6:00 and 15:30 (as the flights are restricted to daylight hours). You’ll have a weight limit of 20 kg of checked luggage and 5 kg of hand luggage.

LuxuryEscapes Cancellation Policy

LuxuryEscapes offers a rather complicated cancellation policy. It basically comes in three steps:

  • Until 7 days after booking: You get a full refund in your original payment form. This is the last chance to get your money back.
  • over 46 days before your stay: You can get a full refund in form of a LuxuryEscapes credit. You won’t get your money back, but can use it to book a different hotel on LuxuryEscapes.
  • Less than 45 days before you stay: You won’t get a refund in any form if you cancel or no-show.

The Hotel

Angsana Velavaru sits in the quiet South Nilandhe Atoll, about a 40-minute seaplane ride from Malé. Often called “Turtle Island,” it offers a laid-back Maldivian experience with beachfront villas shaded by palm trees and overwater villas that come with their own small pools and sea views. The vibe is relaxed but not boring – guests can dive with the on-site PADI centre, join marine conservation talks, or simply spend the day on the deck watching reef fish swim by. There are several restaurants serving international dishes, and the Banyan Spa provides treatments using local ingredients like frangipani and jasmine. While it’s a luxury resort, Angsana Velavaru tries to keep an eco-friendly focus, which appeals to travellers wanting comfort without feeling entirely cut off from nature.

Previous guests have left very good reviews of the hotel (e.g. 4.6/5 on Google or 4.8/5 on Tripadvisor with over 5,800 reviews), many praising the overall sense of luxury and relaxation and the magical swimming experiences. We couldn’t find any recurring point of criticism.

This atoll is quieter than the more developed northern parts of the country, with fewer resorts and a more low-key feel. The hotel itself is on a small island surrounded by a wide lagoon, with open ocean beyond and a few local islands scattered in the distance. There isn’t much nearby, so guests mainly spend their time on the island or exploring the reefs and sandbanks by boat. The area is known for clear waters and good snorkelling, but what stands out most is the sense of being quite far from anything else.

Price Check

While LuxuryEscapes charges €2,519 for 5 nights with transfers and all-inclusive, the hotel charges a much higher price. In August, for instance, the five nights would cost you €3,353. The very expensive transfers play a big part in that price difference, costing almost €950 for 2 adults.

The savings compared to the hotel’s price are highest in April 2026, with 5 nights with all-inclusive and transfers costing up to €3,750. In that case, you’d be saving up to 40% through LuxuryEscapes.
