LuxuryEscapes Cancellation Policy
LuxuryEscapes offers a rather complicated cancellation policy. It basically comes in three steps:
- Until 7 days after booking: You get a full refund in your original payment form. This is the last chance to get your money back.
- over 21 days before your stay: You can get a full refund in form of a LuxuryEscapes credit. You won’t get your money back, but can use it to book a different hotel on LuxuryEscapes.
- Less than 22 days before you stay: You won’t get a refund in any form if you cancel or no-show.
The Hotel
Aria Hotel Budapest by Library Hotel Collection is a boutique hotel with a strong musical theme, where each wing is inspired by a different genre, such as classical, jazz, opera, or contemporary. The interiors are vibrant and characterful, mixing playful design elements with luxurious materials. Rooms are spacious and include thoughtful touches like soundproofing and music systems. The hotel also features a glass-covered courtyard lounge, a spa with a pool, and a rooftop bar that adds to its distinctive, artistic atmosphere.
Previous guests have left very good reviews of the hotel (e.g. 4.8/5 on Google or 4.9/5 on TripAdvisor, with over 2,600 reviews). TripAdvisor even ranks it as the 5th best-rated hotel in the entire city. Most guests praised the exceptional masseuses, the lovely live piano concert, the fantastic location, the clean and comfortable rooms, the amazing view, the terrific sky bar, and the sublime breakfast. We couldn’t find any recurring point of criticism.
Aria Hotel Budapest is located in the city centre, just a short walk from St. Stephen’s Basilica. The area is lively, with many cafés, restaurants, and shops nearby, and it’s within easy reach of the Danube River and major sights like the Parliament and Chain Bridge. Despite its central position, the hotel sits on a small pedestrian street, which keeps the immediate surroundings relatively calm.
Price Check
While you’re only paying €248 per night when booking through LuxuryEscapes, the hotel itself would charge far higher prices. You won’t find a room at that hotel for much less than €350 a night, including breakfast. Only in January, the savings are a bit smaller, as the cold weather makes it peak off-season.
