I clicked for the trial but can you answer this question please. For each hotel I am shown a basic rate and a VIP rate.
If I book the basic rate do I still get all my marriott points, night credit etc? The way it’s presented leads you to believe that you only get them if you book VIP.
Yeah, you do. However, it makes little sense to book the basic rate as it usually gets you no benefits. Might as well book directly at Marriott.
Usually, the VIP rate is the best deal, though.

In this case the VIP rate is around £50/day more than the standard which is around £75 cheaper than booking direct with Marriott. I’m Titanium, so I’ll get all my points and benefits, so makes sense not to book the VIP.

Wie ist es wenn ich während der Probezeit eine Buchung vornehme aber diese Buchung erst in Februar ist? Wir die Premium-Membership verlängert? Wenn nicht hat das eine Auswirkung auf die Buchung und Vorteile?
Wenn die Buchung erst im Februar ist, wird die Mitgliedschaft nicht unbedingt verlängert (evtl. aus Kulanz). Auf die Vorteile hat das allerdings keine Auswirkung, die bleiben definitiv bestehen.
I am confused, how is this different from a TA who has access to all these perks as well and can book them for everyone without any paid subscription?
That you can do it yourself, without having to request it from a travel agent. You choose the hotel, your dates, directly see the price, and book it. No waiting, no nothing. Almost no other site offers this.
