The Celebrity Constellation of the U.S. cruise line Celebrity Cruises will change its deployment area in the spring of 2025, returning from the USA to Europe. In this context, the transatlantic cruise from Tampa to Civitavecchia (85 km from Rome), departing on April 12, 2025, is currently particularly affordable.
You can book 16 nights in an outside cabin starting from €897 per person. The inside cabin is slightly cheaper at €804 per person. A balcony cabin costs €1,176 per person. Solo travellers can book this cruise in an inside cabin starting at €1,338

The price includes all meals, as well as coffee, tea, water, and iced tea in the buffet restaurant, and water during main meals in the à la carte restaurant with table service.
At Celebrity Cruises, gratuities are not automatically charged to your onboard account. You can decide onboard whether and how much to tip the crew members for good service.

The Ship
The Celebrity Constellation is over 20 years old. However, this is hardly noticeable, partly because it was upgraded in 2013 with improvements from the Solstice class. It was then renovated again in the spring of 2024.
The ship was built at Chantiers de l’Atlantique in St. Nazaire, France, and was a luxury ship ahead of its time. Therefore, the cabins are still competitive with those on newer ships. The ship’s technology, featuring electric pods under the ship instead of a classic drive and stabilizers, ensures a smooth travel experience.
In addition to the standard outdoor pools, the ship also has a sheltered pool under a large glass roof. The deck equipment is of high quality, and the small amenities provided by a premium operator like Celebrity contribute to relaxation.

Flights
Americans will need to get back to the US after the cruise, while Europeans will need to get to Tampa before the cruise, so pretty much everyone will need a flight across the Atlantic – which is not included.
