From Italy, you’ll sail to Marseille, France, and then begin a tour of Spain’s iconic coastal cities: the vibrant Catalan capital of Barcelona, followed by the Andalusian gems of Malaga and Cádiz.
After a day at sea, the cruise reaches its westernmost point in the Spanish Canary Islands, with stops in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The return journey takes you to continental Africa with a visit to Tangier, Morocco, offering a unique blend of African and European cultures.
The final leg of the cruise features more Spanish highlights—Alicante and Valencia—before a brief second stop in Barcelona. After a final night at sea, you will disembark back in Savona, Italy, concluding your extensive tour of the Western Mediterranean and beyond.

The Ship
The Costa Toscana was completed in 2021 and, along with its sister ship the Costa Smeralda, is the largest ship in the Costa fleet at 337 meters long and 42 meters wide. In total, it can accommodate up to 6,200 passengers and 1,600 crew members. It is one of the most modern and environmentally friendly ships at sea, powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG).
The ship has a total of four pools, one of which is reserved for adults. Additionally, there are 9 whirlpools, two of which are infinity whirlpools at the stern on Deck 8. The onboard aqua park allows for swimming and relaxation even in bad weather. For entertainment, the Colosseo, spanning three decks in the middle of the ship, hosts spectacular shows, while the Poltrona Frau Arena theater offers another venue for parties and events. The wellness area with a sauna and Turkish steam bath is available for an additional fee. For children, the Squok Club offers supervised activities for ages 3 and up.
The ship features 11 restaurants and 19 bars & lounges. Your cruise fare includes meals in your assigned main à la carte restaurant as well as the buffet restaurant, which offer a wide variety of Italian and international dishes.
The official onboard languages are English and Italian, though other European languages representatives are also available. The onboard currency is the Euro, and all payments are made through your cruise card or cash using the kiosks to top-up your account.
