The Route

Your Mediterranean cruise begins in the northern Italian port city of Savona, known for its historic centre with museums, shopping streets, and leisure opportunities. The journey then proceeds to Marseille, followed by the Spanish Mediterranean hub of Barcelona. In Barcelona, you can explore landmarks such as the iconic Sagrada Família, the Gothic Quarter (Barri Gòtic), and the city’s many cafés, shops, restaurants, and bars.

On the fourth day, the Costa Toscana docks in Palma de Mallorca, giving you the chance to explore the island outside of peak tourist season. Highlights include the Cathedral of La Seu and the Almudaina Palace, once the residence of Mallorcan royalty. After a day at sea, the ship reaches Sicily, where you can explore Palermo on your own or via an organized shore excursion. The final stop before returning to Savona is Civitavecchia, the gateway to Rome.
