There are times when standing on the side of a lower level football pitch on a rainy Saturday feels quite right, watching part-time players struggle to string more than three passes together while fighting passionately in a way that convinces you they field an equal disdain for both the opposition and the ball itself. Those stadium visits are best compared to our column deals, that did not make it. But this? This is your all-expenses-paid suite ticket to a Champions League fixture of your choice, with perfect weather conditions, the air filled with the scent of freshly cut grass and excitement, while the floodlights beam down on the brightest stars of the beautiful game. These are our deals of the week.

Lots of Business Class Flights to Dubai
After covering Turkish Airlines’ business class fares to Dubai the week prior, last came with even more sub-€1,200 premium tickets to Dubai. This time, Oneworld member Finnair and Star Alliance carrier Lufthansa joined the fight for butts in business class seats, heavily discounting tickets with departure from Northern Europe.
Why it’s awesome: While Lufthansa’s offer is superior because it already includes checked bags and lounge access, Finnair’s offer is a nice complement for those who prefer flying with Oneworld, most likely because they hold a status. The excellent price-tag and popular destination makes both offers stand out.
Ethiopian Airlines Business to South Africa & Namibia
Ethiopian Airlines garnered some attention with the fares from Oslo to Southern Africa this week. You can reach Johannesburg and Windhoek in business class for less than €1,400 – with more departures to South Africa available from other cities in a similar price range.
Why it’s awesome: Prices to both Johannesburg and Windhoek are really great from Oslo. The baggage allowance is very high. And the discussion in the comments is quite entertaining.
€60 or Less for Sunday Nights in Scandic Hotels
Only until Sunday night, Scandic Hotel offers a special rate for stays from Sunday to Monday. You pay a (prepaid) flat rate of €60, NOK 600 or SEK 600 for a Sunday evening stay. The promotional rate includes breakfast and is available for each Sunday in 2026.
Why it’s awesome: This fare allows you to rent a room at half its regular price (or even less) on many occasions. While we are usually not a fan of combining prepaid rates with long travel periods, this offer is an exception. There are plenty of short-term saving opportunities – and losing €60 doesn’t hurt as much as losing triple digit sums like you do with most other prepaid offers.
