Our Handpicked Dealz of the Week: Hainan Airlines One-Way Fares, Oneworld & Star Alliance to Singapore (and Beyond)

Our Saturday morning column deals, that did not make it is the waiting room. Solid offers, calmly flipping through old magazines, hoping their name gets called. Nothing wrong with them. They just didn’t demand attention. On the other hand, our Dealz of the week kick the door open! These are the ones that wouldn’t sit quietly, the ones so good we had to give them the microphone before they caused a scene.

These are our best dealz since January 18, 2026:

Hainan Airlines’ One-Way Party

China’s only five-star carrier, Hainan Airlines, launched several interesting one-way fares this week. While €220 tickets from Australia to London are already attractive, the business class deals are even more compelling. Fly from Cairo to one of six Chinese cities for under €700, or enjoy a lie-flat seat from Auckland to Milan for €1,500.

Why it stands out: Both fares come with perks beyond the great price. The Cairo offer has no minimum stay, letting you return to Egypt or continue elsewhere – even with an award ticket home. Tickets from Australia make it easy to include a stopover in Shenzhen or Haikou, the capital of China’s Hainan Province. Both cities are worth a day or two, making them ideal short-stop destinations.

Lufthansa Premium Economy to South East Asia

For €1,200 or less, you can fly premium economy with Swiss, Lufthansa, or Austrian from Europe to Singapore. The fare includes two connecting flights within Europe from one of twelve origins to a Lufthansa Group hub. In some cases, you can even add a Singapore Airlines flight to Jakarta or Bali, allowing a trip to Indonesia.

Why it stands out: The deal offers multiple origin options, and the premium economy fare is very competitive. Flights from Europe to Singapore often exceed 12 hours in both directions, making the extra legroom a real bonus. The option to continue on to Bali adds further appeal.

Cheap Finnair Tickets to Singapore

If you’re more focused on saving money than extra legroom, there are cheaper options to Singapore. Finnair currently offers economy roundtrips from 21 European airports, connecting through Helsinki to the world’s largest Merlion reservoir.

Why it stands out: Prices are well below €600 and include free checked baggage for Oneworld status holders. It was also our readers’ favourite economy deal of the week, making it the most-clicked offer in that category.
