United Island Hopper for €250 (With Luggage)
You can currently buy United Airlines one-way tickets from Hawaii to Japan for just €250 – a fare that includes a checked bag of 23kg. While that offer is decent by itself, it is possible to route the trip via Guam and enjoy a stopover on the island. But it gets even better: Between Hawaii and Guam, you can choose between the direct flight – or hop on board of United’s island hopper and stop at four different islands in-between.
Why it’s awesome: The United Island Hopper easily made our collection of bucket list flight experiences: A Boeing 737 that stops on most islands between Hawaii and Guam, two rather remote islands themselves. Not only is it usually much more expensive – the price even includes an onward flight to one of three Japanese cities. A truly remarkable offer.
€1,600 Etihad Business Class to South East Asia
Etihad Airways surprised with not only one, but two broad business class sales to Southeast Asia this week. While Monday’s sale to five Thai airports was gone rather quickly (though some connections are still available), Thursday’s deal to Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia and Singapore is still alive and kicking. Most connections are available for roughly €1,900, but prices drop below €1,600 for select departures from Dublin
Why it’s awesome: Etihad’s business class fares have been a favourite of our reader base, and we can confirm that the airlines offers a quality product. So whenever tickets to East Asia or South East Asia dip below €2,000 for a round-trip, we don’t hesitate to share the offer.
Where to find the Cheapest Marriott Hotels
We have compiled a list of the cheapest Marriott hotels worldwide – for both mainline hotels and sub-brands. Prices go down to €22. But sadly, most of them are nowhere near major cities or airports.
Why it’s awesome: Our hotel lists are generally well received. Especially at the end of the year, many people are looking for cheap nights at specific hotel chains to bump up their status night counter in order to enjoy their current benefits for another month. Because of that, it is always good to know where you can find the cheapest possible offers – and we’re talking €55/night for a full-fledged Marriott cheap.
Compilation of Cheap One-Way Offers from Asia
In this compilation, we had a look at cheap one-way flights from nine cities in East and Southeast Asia to Europe. The cheapest starts at only €111, and we have found many connections for less than €300. The range of airlines involved is impressive, from LCCs like Norse to household names like Eithad, Qatar Airways and Singapore Airlines.
Why it’s awesome: Asia in general – and China in particular – is a common destination for cheap award flights. But after enjoying a premium cabin on your way to fried rice, hearty soups and fruity deserts, you might need a ticket back. Usually, one-way flights are rather expensive, usually costing 70%-80% the price of a roundtrip – and searching for cheaper offers can be tedious. So this compilation will surely save you both time and money.
