Deutsche Bahn offers discounted (Super) Saver fares. Prices for ICE and IC trains start at just €6.99 on short routes. For up to €14.99 per trip, you’ll find a much wider selection, including routes with travel times of up to 3 hours.
Unlike previous promotions, Deutsche Bahn has not specified an exact end date for this Super Saver promotion. According to the terms and conditions, these tickets will be offered “until further notice.”

As always, the general rule applies: the longer you wait to book, the higher the prices. Unfortunately, this discount does not apply to first-class tickets, which still start at €23.99 per trip.

- €9.99 for trips up to 90 minutes over a larger distance
- €14.99 for trips up to 150 minutes
- We don’t really know what differentiates the €9.99 routes from the €12.99 routes. Probably availability.
- The offer applies only to long-distance domestic travel (ICE, ECE, IC, EC).
- Adding regional trains (S-Bahn, RE, or other local services) significantly increases the price.
- It is recommended to book regional train tickets separately (or use the Deutschland ticket).
