Austrian Airlines deploys Airbus A320 aircraft between Vienna and most European destinations. Their European business class offers a 3-3 seating configuration, with the middle seat blocked for extra comfort. On some routes, you might also sit in an Embraerjet, with a 2-2 configuration. In this case, the seat next to you remains empty. You will also receive complimentary food and beverage service.

This deal does not have an expiration date, but a minimum stay of one night (Saturday overnight) or six days, and a maximum stay of twelve months apply. Departures are available until November 2026.

You can find suitable dates using our calendar above or with the help of Google Flights. We recommend booking directly on the airline’s website.

Why is booking with an airline better than with an online travel agency?

More often than not, online travel agencies offer lower fares than airlines do. We still recommend booking with the airlines directly. There are two main reasons for that:

Better Customer Service
In case any problems like delays, cancellations or missed connections arise, you can communicate directly with the airline. The airline has to take care of you because you have a contract with them.

If a travel agency issues your ticket, you may have to reach out to them first. You also depend on your OTA to forward information like flight changes instead of receiving them directly from the airline. In many cases, you may get a prime exhibition of responsibility shifting rather than problem-solving.

This especially applies to premium tickets. You don’t want to spend more than €1,000 to wind up with some budget OTA’s telephone hotline in case anything goes wrong.

Baggage and Other Fees
Economy fares not including hold luggage are industry standard by now. In most cases, travel agencies charge much higher baggage fees than the airlines themselves. If bags are not included in your fare, airlines are often the cheaper alternative.

This also applies to other things like food services, insurances or priority treatment. In almost all cases, you pay less for additional amenities when booking on the airlines’ website.

Kuwait, Egypt, Iran & More: Crazy Cheap Pegasus Flights from All Over Europe Starting at €117 r/t (With Luggage) https://travel-dealz.com/deal/pegasus-airlines-sale/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=rss-feed https://travel-dealz.com/deal/pegasus-airlines-sale/#comments Thu, 11 Dec 2025 18:12:55 +0000 https://travel-dealz.com/?post_type=deal&p=54950#97359

Turkish low-cost carrier Pegasus Airlines always offers very good prices on select routes across its entire network, but now they’ve started a high-value sale, with round-trip prices to the Middle East starting at only €117 – including checked luggage and a carry-on! We’ve combed through the offers from airports all over Europe to bring you flights that would normally cost two or three times as much. Each connection requires a change of planes in Istanbul’s Sabiha Gökçen Airport, both ways.

While the cheapest Light fare merely includes a small personal item, the Saver fare includes an 8 kg carry-on and 20 kg of checked luggage at an acceptable surcharge (usually roughly €17 per direction, which is extremely fair, considering the really cheap base price).

Here are some example routes we’ve found. All prices include checked luggage:

To Kuwait City, Kuwait:

To Karachi, Pakistan:

To Alexandria, Egypt:

To Antalya, Turkey:

To Mashhad, Iran:

To Muscat, Oman:

To Doha, Qatar:

To Hurghada, Egypt:

To Beirut, Lebanon:

To Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt:

Other possible destinations include:

  • Dammam, Saudi-Arabia
  • Riyadh, Saudi-Arabia
  • Manama, Bahrain
  • Baghdad, Iraq
  • Tehran, Iran
  • and more…

There are also quite a few more possible points of departure, e.g.:

  • Athens
  • Belgrade
  • Budapest
  • Dublin
  • Stansted
  • and more…

You can use our search form to look for these tickets. The availability varies by route, but it’s generally the highest from January through March 2026.

Pegasus uses short-haul planes, such as the Boeing 737 and Airbus A321, featuring a standard 3-3 economy configuration. Pegasus is a low-cost carrier, so meals are not included.

The sale has no expiration date, and the travel period lasts from January through March 2026. As so often, we recommend using Google Flights to find the dates that are most suitable for you. However, it doesn’t display the correct prices for some routes. But for the majority of them, it works well. We recommend booking directly on flypgs.com, where the cheapest tickets are available.

Scandic Hotels: Fixed Rate of €60 for Sunday Night Stays in 2026 (Incl. Breakfast, Non-Refundable) https://travel-dealz.com/deal/scandic-hotels-sunday-night/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=rss-feed https://travel-dealz.com/deal/scandic-hotels-sunday-night/#respond Thu, 11 Dec 2025 16:45:43 +0000 https://travel-dealz.com/?post_type=deal&p=104597

Many Scandic Hotels currently offer an interesting promotion for stays in 2026. If book separately, nights from Sunday to Monday are available at a fixed price of €60, NOK 600 (~€51) or SEK 600 (~€55), depending on their location. This rate is not only very attractive by itself, it even includes breakfast. The most significant downside is that these prices are non-refundable and have to be prepaid.

The offer is available until December 14, 2025 for all Sunday Nights in 2026. While it is exclusive to the hotel’s loyalty program Scandic Friends, you can sign up for free. The fare is available when using the code XMASSUNDAYSor on the landing page below:

Info

In order to get the lowest rate, you need to book one night from Sunday to Monday. Stays from Saturday to Monday or from Sunday to Tuesday do not get the discount. If you plan such a stay, it pays off to make multiple bookings. You can usually stay in the same room when asking for it during check-in.

Kiruna Scandic Hotels — Sunday Discount
SEK 600 (~€55) instead of the regular €200 – if only this night.

Examples

We have looked at specific dates and compared prices with and without the discount code. All examples are compared to the cheapest available rate with breakfast for 2 people:

  • 78% discount: Scandic Kiruna 🇸🇪 for SEK 600 (~€55) instead of €258 (e.g. March 15)
  • 65% discount: Scandic Neptun, Bergen 🇳🇴 for NOK 600 (~€51) instead of €161 (e.g. July 12)
  • 65% discount: Scandic Grand Central, Stockholm 🇸🇪 for SEK 600 (~€55) instead of €158 (e.g. May 3)
  • 63% discount: Scandic Svolvaer 🇳🇴 for NOK 600 (~€51) instead of €138 (e.g. April 5)
  • 62% discount: Scandic Hamburg Emporio 🇩🇪 for €60 instead of €161 (e.g. February 8)
  • 55% discount: Scandic Berlin Potsdamer Platz 🇩🇪 for €60 instead of €134 (e.g. February 8)
  • 48% discount: Scandic München Macherei 🇩🇪 for €60 instead of €116 (e.g. February 1)
  • 48% discount: Scandic Kopenhagen 🇩🇰 for DKK 600 (~€80) instead of €154 (e.g. January 25)

If you are travelling alone or don’t need breakfast, the savings are a little lower.

Prices start at €1,542 (~HUF 590,403) for a roundtrip. Departures are scattered between January and May 2026.

According to the fare rules, these tickets are available without any restrictions, as there is no sales or travel period, nor a minimum stay. Departures are scattered between January and May 2026. You need to buy your tickets at least 7 days before departure to get the lowest fare.

Google Flights helps you find additional flight dates. While purchasing premium tickets directly from the airline is advisable, China Eastern’s website can be very clunky and difficult to handle. You might want to consider purchasing tickets from an online travel agency like trip.com instead. It is cheaper, but does not come without risks:

Information & Tips for Xi’An

Xi’an was once known to the world as Chang’an and stands as one of the great ancient capitals of China. While modern hubs like Beijing and Shanghai now hold the political and economic spotlight, Xi’an possesses a historical gravitas that is arguably unmatched. It served as the imperial seat for numerous powerful dynasties and was the eastern terminus of the legendary Silk Road, a legacy far deeper than any modern skyline. The local currency is the Chinese yuan (CNY), with mobile payments like Alipay and WeChat Pay being the standard, although cash is still widely accepted. The city offers great value, with famously delicious and inexpensive street food and reasonably priced accommodations. Xi’an has a temperate climate with four distinct seasons: hot summers and cold winters, so it’s wise to pack in layers, especially for the cooler spring and autumn months which are ideal for visiting.

AirHelp+: Up to €400 Compensation per Flight Disruption + Delayed Luggage for €85/Year (max. 9 Trips) https://travel-dealz.com/deal/airhelp-plus/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=rss-feed https://travel-dealz.com/deal/airhelp-plus/#comments Thu, 11 Dec 2025 11:46:29 +0000 https://travel-dealz.com/?post_type=deal&p=50385#104582

AirHelp is generally known for pursuing compensation for flight delays and cancellations from airlines in exchange for a percentage of the compensation. However, with AirHelp+, they offer a subscription for €100 per year that comes with various benefits:

  • 100% of the compensation received from the airlines (up to €600, depending on the flight distance) if AirHelp successfully files the claim for you.
  • Lounge access voucher if your flight is delayed by more than one hour.
  • Flight Insurance: A flat €100 is paid to your account if your flight is delayed by more than three hours, cancelled within 28 days before departure, or diverted. This is in addition to any compensation from the airline.
  • Luggage Insurance: A flat €100 for lost or delayed luggage, completely independent of claims against the airline.
  • Missed connection insurance: A flat €200 if you miss your connecting flight.

What’s great about these compensations is that they’ll be payed regardless of the reason – there are no exceptions for bad weather, strikes, or other reasons that airlines can usually use to refuse payments.

So, you’ll break even (or even make a profit, depending on the situation) if you have 1 issue on any of the 9 trips you register. Two issues, and you’ve at least doubled your money.

Update

Until December 21, 2025, you can get a 15% discount off AirHelp+ packages by using the code COZY15, lowering the price to €85 for a year-long subscription.

AirHelp+ Cozy15 Discount

AirHelp basically offers two tiers for the Plus subscription: Smart for €40 per year, limited to three trips. Pro, on the other hand, covers 9 trips. You can get a 15% discount on both offers.

100% Payout of Compensation

When your flight is delayed or cancelled, AirHelp will ensure you receive compensation according to EU air passenger rights. As a Plus member, you get 100% of the compensation without AirHelp taking a commission. If you use AirHelp without AirHelp+, you receive a maximum of 65% of the compensation. AirHelp normally charges a success fee of 35% if the airline pays without legal action, and 50% if AirHelp has to go to court.

However, AirHelp is generally quite expensive. There are significantly cheaper providers that charge a commission starting at 27% or at least buy your claim and pay you within a few days. Of course, you can also pursue the claim yourself without hiring a service. Providers like AirHelp are convenient and low-risk only when the airline rejects the claim.

Lounge Pass for Delays or Cancellations

You’ll receive a lounge pass if your flight is delayed by more than 1 hour or cancelled at least 6 hours before departure. You don’t have to use the voucher for the delayed flight; you can use it flexibly in over 1,300 lounges worldwide within 90 days. The voucher is provided by LoungeKey for participating lounges worldwide.

The airport, however, has to actually have a lounge for AirHelp to grant you the lounge pass. In my personal experience, I’ve received lounge passes even when I wasn’t entitled to one (e.g. the delay was less than one hour, but I still got a lounge pass).

Flight Insurance: €100 Payout for Delays or Cancellations

The membership pays off once your flight arrives at the destination at least 3 hours late or is cancelled within 28 days before departure. In such cases, the AirPayout insurance pays a flat €100. This is in addition to any compensation from the airline, regardless of whether you have a claim. Moreover, it even applies to flights outside of Europe, such as within the USA, where passenger rights are limited compared to the EU.

While there are some exceptions in which the insurance doesn’t pay, these are quite limited, for instance, in cases of war or disruptions lasting more than 7 days, such as strikes or volcanic eruptions.

In addition, only one compensation of €100 will be paid per trip, even if it consists of multiple flights. If there is a delay on both the outbound and return flights, you will only receive €100 once.

To be eligible for the €100, the trip must be registered in the AirHelp dashboard at least 48 hours before the departure of the first flight. If your flight is delayed or cancelled according to the rules, AirHelp will notify you and ask for your bank details. Afterwards, you will receive the compensation within 5 working days.

Luggage Insurance: €100 Payout for Delayed or Lost Luggage

You can receive even more money if an airline loses your luggage or it arrives late. In such cases, you receive a flat €100 per incident. AirLuggage is also limited to a maximum of 1 claim per trip. Sadly, damaged baggage does not get you compensation.

Missed Connection Insurance: €200 Payout for Missing Your Connecting Flight

This insurance is the newest addition to AirHelp+’s insurances – and it’s a good one. Should you miss your connecting flight, e.g. because your first flight was delayed, you’ll get €200. So if this happens to you even once, you’ll have made a profit of €100!

Personal Experience

I’ve used AirHelp+ for roughly 2 years now, and I’ve made a lot of money with it. Basically, each trip with a short connection (of an hour or less) has a really high chance of either you or your luggage not making it to the final destination on time. So to anyone who flies a lot and has at least 3 trips with short connections, I would definitely recommend getting this subscription.

I would not necessarily recommend AirHelp+ to people who usually fly non-stop. The chances of something going wrong are much lower, and so you’re taking more of a risk.

Regarding the payouts, except for one time where there was an issue, I’ve always received my money within 2 days. Usually, you just need to upload a passport/ID photo and the boarding pass or baggage report.

Info

This is just my personal experience. A colleague of mine and I have received hundreds of Euros of compensation already with AirHelp+. However, some readers have also pointed out negative experiences. It could be that the German version of AirHelp+ is more reliable than others. While personally, we haven’t had many problems, we cannot vouch that this will be the case for everyone.

Changelog

AirHelp has made a lot of changes to its AirHelp+ membership conditions, some even retroactively for existing memberships. From being a no-brainer, to being an okay-ish offer, to now actually being very attractive again. Here’s everything they’ve changed in the past years:

June 2025:

Things have stabilised now. The only changes since November 2023 have all been positive:

  • The Pro plan now covers 9 trips.
  • All plans now also grant a €200 compensation for missed connections.

November 2023:

  • The AirPayout and AirLuggage insurance now compensates only once per trip, even if multiple flights are affected, such as on the outbound and return flights.
  • To receive compensation from the AirPayout insurance, you no longer need to fill out the privacy-questionable Google Docs form. Instead, AirHelp monitors the flights you have registered and pays the compensation in the event of a delay or cancellation. You will then receive an email, provide your bank details, and receive the €100 within 5 business days. However, if you are not informed, you will still need to fill out a Google Docs form.
  • Previously, the AirPayout insurance only paid for cancellations within 7 days before departure. Now, it pays for cancellations within 28 days before departure. Additionally, the compensation from the AirPayout insurance is now also paid for diverted flights.

January 2024:

  • In the Complete plan, only 7 trips are insured, no longer unlimited as before.

April 2024:

  • For the AirLuggage insurance, only a one-time compensation of €150 per case is paid, no longer €150 per piece of luggage for up to two pieces of luggage.
  • A trip must now be registered at least 48 hours before departure, instead of the previous 24 hours before departure.

May 2024:

  • The Essential and Complete packages have now been discontinued. Instead, there are two new packages that are even less attractive than before:
    • Airhelp+ Smart for €40/year: AirPayout & AirLuggage for 3 trips per year
    • Airhelp+ Pro for €100/year: AirPayout & AirLuggage for 9 trips per year
  • Both plans now include lounge access in case of delay and compensation service without commission, instead of only the Complete package.

Conclusion

In essence, the €100 per year membership can be worth it for frequent flyers who have some fragile bookings with risky layovers, where issues are probable. You only need one issue to break even or even make a profit.

For normal people, however, the risk of making a loss may be too high. The fact that AirHelp has changed the conditions so often is also worth mentioning and casts a shadow on this deal – though they’ve been very consistent for over a year now.

Information & Tips for San José, Costa Rica

San José, the capital of Costa Rica, is a common starting point for travelers exploring the country. Key sights include the National Theatre, the Pre-Columbian Gold Museum, and the lively Central Market. The local currency is the Costa Rican colón (CRC), though U.S. dollars are widely accepted. Prices are moderate by Central American standards—cheaper than the U.S., but not budget-travel cheap, especially in tourist areas. The weather is generally mild year-round due to the city’s elevation, with a dry season from December to April and a rainy season from May to November.

Information & Tips for Panama

Panama City blends modern skyscrapers with colonial history, most notably in the Casco Viejo district with its plazas and churches. The famous Panama Canal is the city’s top attraction, with visitors often stopping at the Miraflores Locks. The official currency is the Balboa, though U.S. dollars are used interchangeably and are the main form of cash payment. Prices are moderate compared to North America—cheaper local eateries and transport exist, but touristy areas can feel pricey. The climate is hot and humid year-round, with a distinct rainy season from May to November.

FlyingBlue Status Match from Miles&More & ITA Volare, Starting at €89 for Italian Residents (Elite Plus for €199) https://travel-dealz.com/deal/flying-blue-status-match-miles-and-more/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=rss-feed https://travel-dealz.com/deal/flying-blue-status-match-miles-and-more/#comments Wed, 10 Dec 2025 18:17:33 +0000 https://travel-dealz.com/?post_type=deal&p=79437#104492

Air France & KLM are once again offering a status match. If you have a frequent flyer status with Miles&More or ITA Volare (and Italian residency), you can secure Silver, Gold, or Platinum status with Flying Blue. The status is valid for 12 months. Even the lowest Silver status for €89 would already get you free luggage on all SkyTeam flights for a year!

Costs & Eligibility

Unfortunately, this is a paid status match. The fee depends on the status level you receive with Flying Blue:

  • €89 fee for Flying Blue Silver (SkyTeam Elite)
  • €199 fee for Flying Blue Gold (SkyTeam Elite Plus)
  • €349 fee for Flying Blue Platinum (SkyTeam Elite Plus)

The offer is only valid for status holders of Miles&More or ITA Volare. Additionally, you must reside in Italy. For residents of Canada, China, India, the United Arab Emirates and more non-Europeans countries, the list of matched programs is much longer. You can find an overview here.

Info

If you don’t hold a Miles&More or ITA Volare tier – or if you are not from Italy – you can also get SkyTeam Elite Plus status with Vietnam Airlines’ ongoing status match:

Which Status Will You Receive?

During the registration process, you can also select programs other than Miles&More. However, according to the FAQ, with a residence in the mentioned countries, only a Miles&More status qualifies for a match.

Based on your current Miles&More status, you will receive the following Flying Blue status:

Miles&More Senators get to choose if they prefer to match to Gold or Platinum status.

Application Process

To use the status match, you first need to visit the landing page at flyingblue.statusmatch.com. There, you’ll enter your name, email address, and Flying Blue membership number. It’s important that the information exactly matches the details on your Flying Blue account.

After selecting your country of residence, you can provide information about your current frequent flyer status and then upload proof of it. This can be either a screenshot of the app or website of the frequent flyer program, or a photo of your physical frequent flyer card.

Depending on your current status, you may be able to choose which status you’d like to receive with Flying Blue, e.g. if you’re a Senator, you can choose between Flying Blue Gold (€199) or Flying Blue Platinum (€349):

The next step is to pay the “participation fee” by credit card. The review process should take no more than three working days. It may take a few more days before the status appears in your Flying Blue account. Once granted, the status is valid for 12 months. After that, you’ll need to meet the regular qualification requirements to retain it.

Search & Book

These tickets are available until without an expiration date. However, you need to purchase your gift before November 18 to get the lowest possible price. Your stay in Brazil may not exceed three months. Departures are available in March 2025.

Google Flights helps you find additional flight dates. We recommend purchasing tickets directly from the airline.

Miles & Points

ITA Airways issues economy class segments in booking class Y and long-haul flights in booking class A. A ticket to São Paulo is rewarded like this:

  • 14,848 Miles on Saudia Alfursan
  • 14,222 Award Miles + 200 Points on Miles&More
  • 13,090 Award Miles + 1,774 PQP on United MileagePlus
  • 11,730 Miles on ITA Volare

Conrad Manila: 3-for-2 Deal, Starting at €129/Night with Breakfast, $100 Credit, & Double Points (Flex) https://travel-dealz.com/deal/conrad-manila/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=rss-feed https://travel-dealz.com/deal/conrad-manila/#respond Wed, 10 Dec 2025 07:44:00 +0000 https://travel-dealz.com/?post_type=deal&p=104467

The Conrad Manila is currenly offering a 3-for-2 deal for guests who book an Impressario rate, e.g. through ASMALLWORLD or Classictravel. The promotion is valid for stays until December 31, 2026. Furthermore, the Impressario rate includes many additional benefits, such as free breakfast, US$100 (~€86) hotel credit, double Hilton Honors points, as well as early/late check-in/out and an upgrade, if available.

Booking on ClassicTravel is free, but its website looks like it’s from 1990. Nevertheless, they are absolutely a trustable site. If you prefer a more polished site, you can also book on ASMALLWORLD. However, if you didn’t take advantage of our recent promo, you’ll have to get a €79 membership to take advantage of this deal. It’s valid for a year and for all of their hotels, though.

Our calendar below has the cheapest dates marked in green. Remember that you need to select 3 nights, and that the 3rd night will be free. As long as the first two nights are green, the total price should lie under €130 per night. You can either choose to go to Classictravel (free and ugly), or ASMALLWORLD (pretty but not free).

The rooms measure 40 m2. You probably shouldn’t expect too much from the upgrade. Most probably, it will only be a better view or something along those lines. You can choose between a king bed or twin beds.

Here’s an overview of the hotel’s bars and restaurants, where you’ll be able to redeem your US$100 (~PHP 5,913) credit.

You can earn Hilton nights with this eligible rate, and you will receive your benefits if you have Hilton status. For instance, Diamond members will receive executive lounge access when booking this rate.

The Hotel

Conrad Manila sits on the waterfront of Manila Bay, occupying the top floors above the S Maison retail complex in the Bay City / Mall of Asia area. It offers 347 guest rooms and suites, many with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the bay or city skyline. The hotel includes a spa, 24-hour fitness center, an outdoor infinity pool, multiple restaurants and lounges, and direct pedestrian access to nearby conference, shopping and entertainment venues such as the SMX Convention Center and SM Mall of Asia. It’s typically chosen by travellers wanting a full-service hotel that combines international-grade facilities with convenient bay-side and urban access.

Previous guests have left excellent reviews of the hotel (e.g. 4.6/5 on Google, with over 9,300 reviews), many praising the magnificent view of the sea and the elegant lobby. Most negative reviews seem to be quite old and based on minor personal problems.

By loading the map, you agree to Google’s privacy policy. Load Map Save selection & always load Google Maps

The hotel is in the Bay City area, next to the Mall of Asia complex and overlooking Manila Bay. It sits above the S Maison mall, with restaurants, shops, and entertainment directly connected. The SMX Convention Center and Mall of Asia Arena are within a short walk, and the airport is about 15–20 minutes away by car, depending on traffic. The location is convenient for travellers who want easy access to MOA, events, and the waterfront rather than the older central districts.

Price Check

Thanks to this 3-for-2 deal, you’ll only pay €129 per night, and also get free breakfast. Normally, a refundable rate with breakfast at this hotel – even on the exact same dates – costs over €215 per night. You’re saving over 40%, and on top of that also get the upgrade, the US$100 (~€85) credit, and double Hilton Honors points!

Search & Book

Departures are available between December 2025 to June 2026. There is no minimum stay requirement.

You can find available dates very easily using Google Flights (Instructions), though the preview can be unreliable at times. You can book the flights through our Skyscanner or directly through Air India.

Information & Tips for Nepal

Nepal, located between India and China, is known for its dramatic mountain landscapes and cultural heritage. The main tourist sights include Kathmandu’s historic temples, the lakeside town of Pokhara, and trekking routes in the Annapurna and Everest regions. The local currency is the Nepalese rupee (NPR), and prices are generally low compared to Western standards, though costs rise in remote trekking areas. The weather varies by altitude—Kathmandu has a mild climate, while mountain regions can be cold year-round. The best travel seasons are spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November), when skies are clearest.

Nepal’s transport infrastructure is limited, and getting around can be slow. Within cities like Kathmandu, traffic congestion and poor road conditions are common, with taxis, buses, and motorbikes being the main options. Public transport is cheap but often crowded and irregular. Travel between cities is usually by bus or private vehicle, as the railway network is minimal and domestic flights, while faster, can be affected by weather and limited schedules. Road journeys often take longer than expected due to narrow, winding routes and frequent maintenance delays.

Information & Tips for Delhi

Delhi, India’s capital, is known for historic sites like the Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb, and Qutub Minar, as well as vibrant markets and cultural districts. The local currency is the Indian rupee (INR), and cash is widely used, though cards and digital payments are increasingly common. Prices are generally low by international standards, making it a budget-friendly destination. The weather is extreme—very hot in summer (April–June), with a monsoon season from July to September, and cooler, more comfortable weather from October to March.

Information & Tips for Bali

Bali is known for its stunning beaches, vibrant rice terraces in Ubud, and cultural landmarks like Uluwatu Temple and Tanah Lot. The local currency is the Indonesian rupiah (IDR), and while credit cards are accepted in many places, cash is still commonly used, especially in smaller towns and markets. The cost of living is generally low, with affordable food, accommodation, and activities, though luxury options are also available. Bali has a tropical climate with a wet season from November to April and a dry season from May to October, making the latter ideal for outdoor activities.

Bali’s transport infrastructure is fairly basic, and getting around can be challenging, especially during peak hours. Within cities like Denpasar or tourist areas like Kuta and Ubud, traffic congestion is common, and public transportation is limited. Most locals and visitors rely on scooters or ride-hailing apps, which are convenient but can be overwhelming for first-time visitors. Traveling between towns is possible by car or shuttle buses, but the roads are often narrow and winding, making journeys slower than expected.

Conrad Singapore Orchard: 4-for-3 Deal until February, from €217/Night with Breakfast, $100 Credit, & Double Points (Flex) https://travel-dealz.com/deal/conrad-singapore-orchard/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=rss-feed https://travel-dealz.com/deal/conrad-singapore-orchard/#respond Tue, 09 Dec 2025 04:58:00 +0000 https://travel-dealz.com/?post_type=deal&p=104394

The Conrad Singapore Orchard is currenly offering a 4-for-3 deal for guests who book an Impressario rate, e.g. through ASMALLWORLD or Classictravel. The promotion is valid for stays until February 28, 2026. Furthermore, the Impressario rate includes many additional benefits, such as free breakfast, US$100 (~€85) hotel credit, double Hilton Honors points, as well as early/late check-in/out and an upgrade, if available.

Booking on Classictravel is free, but their website looks like it’s from 1990. Nevertheless, they are absolutely a trustable site. If you perfer a more polished site, you can also book on ASMALLWORLD. However, if you didn’t take advantage of our recent promo, you’ll have to get a €79 membership to take advantage of this deal – it’s valid for a year and for all of their hotels, though.

Our calendar below has the cheapest dates marked in green. Remember that you need to select 4 nights, and that the 4th night will be free. You can either be redirected to Classictravel (free but ugly), or ASMALLWORLD (pretty but not free):

The rooms measure 35 m2. You probably shouldn’t expect too much from the upgrade. Most probably, it will only be a higher floor or something along those lines. You can choose between a king bed or twin beds.

Here’s an overview of the hotel’s bars and restaurants, where you’ll be able to redeem your US$100 (~SGD 129) credit. The Summer Palace restaurant even has a Michelin star.

This is an eligible rate to earn Hilton nights and should you hold a Hilton status, you’ll be entitled to your benefits. For instance, Diamond members will receive executive lounge access when booking this rate.

The Hotel

Conrad Singapore Orchard is a recently rebranded property in the Tanglin/Orchard area, a bit set back from the main Orchard Road stretch but still within reasonable walking distance. It’s a full-service hotel with a wide range of room types, multiple dining venues, and an executive lounge. Many rooms have been refreshed as part of the transition to Conrad, but parts of the hotel still feel more like a classic luxury business hotel rather than a brand new build. People usually pick it if they want a quieter base near Orchard with a more residential feel than staying directly on the main shopping street.

Previous guests have left very good reviews of the hotel (e.g. 4.5/5 on Google with over 600 reviews), many praising the comfortable atmosphere and the clean rooms. Couples seem to particularly enjoy this hotel.

Conrad Singapore Orchard sits at 1 Cuscaden Road, just one block away from the shopping and entertainment district of Orchard Road, making major malls, shops and dining easily reachable on foot. The hotel is also a short walk from Singapore Botanic Gardens, giving guests quick access to green space while staying close to urban amenities. Public transport is well accessible: the nearby Orchard Boulevard MRT station (and a couple of other MRT stops) connect you easily to the rest of the city; a plus for anyone planning to explore beyond the immediate area.

Price Check

Getting the 4th night free should decrease the price by roughly 25%. We put this to the test. On the same dates, on which you’d be paying €217 per night, the next-cheapest price for a flex-rate with breakfast is €304 – meaning that you’re even saving 29%! Add the US$100 (~€85) hotel credit, and this is a great deal.

Star Alliance members SWISS and Lufthansa are offering a deal from Europe to Dubai, starting at just €1,175. This offer includes 2×32 kg of checked luggage and all the business class perks. Departures are available between March to September 2026.

You can take advantage of this deal from the following airports:

First, you will take a feeder flight to Frankfurt or Zurich, depending on your dates, and then continue to Dubai with either Lufthansa or SWISS, both using Airbus A330s. Lufthansa offers lie-flat seating in a 2-2-2 configuration across almost its entire fleet. SWISS’s cabin provides a little more privacy with alternating 1-2-1 and 2-2-1 seating.

Generally, Travel-Dealz writers and readers are not big fans of the Lufthansa business class, even though it is definitely not bad. One reason for that is that the service is too inconsistent: From extremely friendly and quick to unfriendly and slow – everything is possible with Lufthansa, even in business class. Regarding the seats, they are mostly fine, though not really on-par with the competition anymore. That’s why the airline is now slowly installing their new Allegris seats.

Lufthansa Business Class Sitz A340

With SWISS, it very much depends on the specific seat, as SWISS has a throne seat in every row. While the double seats share a platform in the middle, the throne seat has its own platform on each side, which you won’t have to share with anyone. Those seats thus offer privacy and comfort to an extent that the other seats cannot compete with. Therefore, you may be disappointed if you don’t get one of the throne seats, even if the other seats obviously also have a very high standard. In the future, SWISS will have a new business class, called “Swiss Senses”, which is basically Lufthansa’s Allegris cabin, but in red.

Bangkok is known for its vibrant street life, cultural landmarks, and bustling markets. Key sights include the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and the lively Khao San Road. The local currency is the Thai baht (THB), and while credit cards are widely accepted in hotels and large stores, cash is preferred for smaller vendors. The city is relatively affordable, with street food and public transport offering great value. Bangkok has a tropical climate, with hot and humid weather year-round, a rainy season from May to October, and cooler, more comfortable temperatures from November to February.

Hotel Ohla Barcelona: €242/Night with Breakfast & Extras (min. 2 Nights) https://travel-dealz.com/deal/hotel-ohla-barcelona/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=rss-feed https://travel-dealz.com/deal/hotel-ohla-barcelona/#respond Mon, 08 Dec 2025 06:07:00 +0000 https://travel-dealz.com/?post_type=deal&p=104258

LuxuryEscapes currently has an interesting deal for a great 5-star hotel in Barcelona. The hotel has a Michelin-star restuarant, a heated rooftop pool, modern rooms, and usually costs at least €300 per night. Through LuxuryEscapes, you’ll only pay €225 + the €16.50 city tax, saving around 25%. The price includes breakfast and is available between January and March and in November and December 2026. You can also stay there in the next few weeks before Christmas at a slightly higher price.

Info

You don’t necessarily need to decide on specific dates right away. LuxuryEscapes allows you to lock in the price and flexibly redeem the voucher until November 30, 2026, travelling by December 30, 2026. To do this, click on “Buy now, choose dates later” under the large “Check Availability” button.

You’ll be staying in a Design room, which is one category above the lowest room category. The room is 27 m2 large and has a queen bed. The room also has a desk, TV, Wi-Fi, and other typical amenities.

The rate includes daily buffet breakfast for two, served from 7:30 to 11:00. You’ll also get a welcome drink during check-in (a glass of cava or a glass of water). In you room, you’ll also find a bottle of red wine. Once during your stay, you can also get a 20% discount if you eat lunch or dinner at the hotel’s La Plassohla restaurant (not the one with the Michelin star). Parking is not included and would cost €37 per day.

The Hotel

Hotel Ohla Barcelona is a five-star boutique hotel located on Via Laietana in the historic heart of Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter, just a few minutes on foot from the cathedral, the old city and major cultural spots. The building’s neoclassical façade, recently revived and decorated with a distinctive ceramic-eye installation, hides a thoroughly contemporary interior. The hotel offers 74 rooms, a rooftop with a heated pool and a cocktail bar, a spa and fitness area, and a fine-dining restaurant with a Michelin star. For travellers looking for a centrally located, design-oriented base with easy walking access to Barcelona’s old town and cultural sights, Ohla Barcelona is a solid, complete option.

Previous guests have left very good reviews of the hotel (e.g. 4.6/5 on Google or 4.7/5 on TripAdvisor with over 3,000 reviews), many praising the clean and modern rooms, the excellent location, and the gorgeous exterior. We couldn’t find any recurring points of criticism.

The hotel sits on Via Laietana, right between the Gothic Quarter and El Born, giving you quick walking access to the cathedral, the old town, and many of the city’s main sights. It’s also close to several metro stations, making it easy to reach other parts of Barcelona. The beach is half an hour away on foot or 15 minutes by bus. The location works well for travellers who want to stay in the historic centre without being tucked into narrow side streets.

Price Check

While LuxuryEscapes offers a fixed price of €242 per night (incl. city tax), the hotel itself – even on the cheapest dates – charges over €305 per night for a rate with breakfast in the Design room.

€292 + €16.50 city tax

In other words, you’re saving at least 23% by booking throug LuxuryEscapes. However, the savings can be even higher. An extreme example is February 16-18, where the hotel charges €387 per night, while LuxuryEscapes stays at €242 – i.e. 37% cheaper.

Lots of Business Class Flights from Norway to China for €1,300 r/t

Star Alliance members Air China and Lufthansa have expanded their sale of business class tickets from Norway to China. You can fly from half-a-dozen Norwegian airports to 18 destinations in China, with prices constantly remaining below €1,400 (~NOK 16,541) for a roundtrip. The only popular destination missing from the sale is Shanghai.

Why it’s awesome: These are great prices for lie-flat-business to Asia. Whether you wish to explore the Middle Kingdom itself or use China as a gateway to travel Japan, Korea or Southeast Asia: You will have a hard time finding cheaper business class offers than this. Unless something exceptional happens.

Luxury Hilton Brands in Dubai for Less Than €140/Night With Extras

ASMALLWORLD currently offers a series of extremely attractive rates for luxury Hilton hotels in Dubai. Rooms at the Conrad Dubai and Waldorf Astoria Palm Jumeirah are available for less than €140/night – a rate that includes breakfast, double Hilton Honors points and flexible cancellation options.

Why it’s awesome: This is really easy to break down. On one hand, you pay a lower price and get more inclusions when booking this offer than paying the cheapest rate with no inclusions on Hilton’s website. On the other hand, these are flex rates. So you can lock up great prices now and, should you not need them, cancel them later without any risk.

Status Match for Hotel Tier Holders up to Oneworld Sapphire

Oneworld member Royal Jordanian Airways has been offering a status match for quite some time. But until December 10, their Royal Club offers the opportunity to match top tier statuses of Accor ALL, Marriott Bonvoy, IHG One Rewards, Hilton Honors and World of Hyatt to Oneworld Sapphire, a status granting alliance wide lounge access. An increased fee of $199 (instead of $149 for airline program matches) is necessary.

Why it’s awesome: Matches from hotel programs to elite airline statuses are rather uncommon. While Royal Jordanian has been offering this status match for several months, hotel program tiers were limited to the (largely worthless) Oneworld Ruby status – a regulation that will likely be back in place on Wednesday.

What Else Was Going on This Week?

  • On Friday, Japan Airlines sold business class tickets from Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands to Japan for an insanely low fare of €1,250 r/t. All discounted itineraries featured a change of planes in Doha, and most segments were operated by Qatar Airways. The offer was gone in the early afternoon. At the time of writing, we are not aware of any cancellations from either of the airlines.

Just because they did not make the podium, our other deals of last week are still worth checking out. Because many of them have been online for some time now, availability may not be as good as at the beginning. That’s why we recommend subscribing to our newsletter.
