While IHG is often very generous regarding points promotions, it’s rather rare for them to be giving away status nights. Now, however, they’ve launched a very attractive – yet very specific – promotion. For every 5 nights that you spend at an IHG hotel in either Osaka, Kyoto, or Kobe in July and August, you’ll earn 5 additional elite nights. This works up to 3 times (= 15 bonus elite nights). So, if you have a trip to Japan planned for this summer to see Osaka’s Expo 2025, make sure to sign up!

The promotion is valid for new and existing bookings. You just have to register for the promotion before staying at the hotel. The following hotels are part of this promotion:

Bottom Line
This deal is very specific, and I can’t imagine anyone booking a trip to Japan solely for the purpose of getting these bonus nights. That being said, the deal is a really great one, if it happens to fit your travel plans. The hotel prices are absolutely reasonable, and gifted elite nights are rare. So, if you’re flying to Osaka and are trying to reach an IHG status, make sure to sign up for this promotion.
