First, you will fly from Europe to Nairobi with Kenyan Airways Boeing 787, with lie-flat seats in a 2-2-2 seating pattern up front. In most cases, an aircraft of the same series will take you onwards to Johannesburg. If your final destination is Cape Town, you will board a Boeing 737 or ERJ-190 on the African segment. Both plane types feature a dedicated business class section with wider seats (2-2 in the 737 and 2-1 in the Embraer Jet).

Most Europeans do not need a visa to enter South Africa, as long as their stay does not exceed 90 days. You merely need a passport with 2 empty pages, and a ticket to leave South Africa.
