KrisFlyer is Singapore Airlines‘ frequent flyer program. Once a month, there is a promotion with discounted award flights, similar to Miles&More’s “Meilenschnäppchen”. These are called Spontaneous Escapes, but they are usually only available for last-minute trips in the following month.
Currently, there is a second, independent offer. If you book by September 22, 2024, you can get a 25% mile discount on many award flights for travel from January 15 to May 29, 2025. However, in return, you must forgo the option to cancel or change your booking. Therefore, the comparison with the regular price is a bit misleading.
Award flights booked as part of this promotion are non-refundable and non-changeable.
If you’re unsure whether you’ll take the flights or not, it might be wiser to book the regular Saver Awards. These can be cancelled for SGD 75 (~€50) or changed for SGD 25 (~€17).

Business Class
The most interesting deals are certainly for business class award flights. Unfortunately, only short- and medium-haul routes are discounted, with no offers to Europe, Australia, or America.
Here are the highlights (all prices one-way):
- Singapore ↔ Bali for 15,750 miles + €46
- Singapore ↔ Jakarta for 15,750 miles + €46
- Singapore ↔ Surabaya for 15,750 miles + €46
- Singapore ↔ Bangkok for 18,000 miles + €46
- Singapore ↔ Ho Chi Minh City for 18,000 miles + €46
- Singapore ↔ Hanoi for 18,000 miles + €46
- Singapore ↔ Manila for 18,000 miles + €46
- Singapore ↔ Phnom Penh for 18,000 miles + €46
- Singapore ↔ Guangzhou for 25,500 miles + €46
- Singapore ↔ Hong Kong for 25,500 miles + €46
- Singapore ↔ Beijing for 32,250 miles + €46
- Singapore ↔ Delhi for 32,250 miles + €46 (other destinations in India also possible)
- Singapore ↔ Colombo, Sri Lanka for 32,250 miles + €46
- Singapore ↔ Dhaka, Bangladesh for 32,250 miles + €46
- Singapore ↔ Malé, Maldives for 32,250 miles + €46
- Singapore ↔ Shanghai for 32,250 miles + €46
- Singapore ↔ Seoul for 39,000 miles + €46
Premium Economy
It looks slightly better in premium economy, where at least the longest flight in the world, from Singapore to New York, is included… though at over 60,000 miles, it’s quite expensive:
- Singapore ↔ Istanbul for 32,250 miles + €46
- Singapore → San Francisco for 56,250 miles + €62
- San Francisco → Singapore for 56,250 miles + €6
- Singapore → New York JFK for 60,375 miles + €62
- New York EWR → Singapore for 60,375 miles + €6
Economy Class
In economy class, there is a 25% discount on all routes worldwide, with just a few blackout dates for certain routes, which are communicated in this table.
However, the prices are not particularly attractive, e.g. a one-way flight from Singapore to Munich costs 31,500 miles plus €46 in taxes and fees.
Conclusion
If you already have travel plans for next year, it may be worth taking advantage of the promotion. However, the offer is mostly interesting for medium-haul business-class flights. And even then, you should consider whether the savings are worth giving up any flexibility.

Hi, is there any way to exchange miles from program M&M to program KrisFlyer – online?
Unfortunately, that’s not possible.
