Polish Star Alliance member LOT is selling extremely cheap nonstop tickets from Budapest to New York. The flights only cost HUF 92,400 (~€236), or HUF 124,400 (~€318) if you wish to fly with 23 kg of luggage. There’s availability until May 2021.
LOT uses a Boeing 787-Dreamliner for its long-haul flights. You’ll get free meals and drinks on the flight. Only luggage is not included in LOT’s cheapest fare. However, one bag (23 kg) can be checked for free, if you are either a Star Alliance Gold member or a Miles&More Frequent Traveller – even on the Saver fare.

man kann bei LOT zwar umbuchen, allerdings wird dann Preisdifferenz minus 200PLN berechnet (ca. 45€).
Aber klar, ganz risikofrei ist es nicht, da man die Preisentwicklung nicht vorhersehen kann. Allerdings kann man bis Ende 2021 umbuchen – sollte es bis dahin einen Flug für bis zu ca. 305€ geben, wäre die Umbuchung praktisch kostenlos.
Jedenfalls danke, dass du das Thema angesprochen hast, ist ja auch wichtig.
