SkyTeam airline Air Europa and Oneworld‘s Iberia are currently offering cheap non-stop business class flights from Madrid to Havana. Both airlines let you take 3 x 23 kg of luggage with you. If you’re booking through an OTA, Air Europa will be cheaper. Otherwise, if you prefer to book directly on the airline’s website, Iberia will be cheaper. You can practically fly on all dates between now and September 30th (almost no exceptions). If you’re planning on flying after September 30th, you can fly with Air France – KLM, as stated here.

Air Europa flies to Havana with a Boeing 787-Dreamliner, Iberia uses an Airbus A330.
Search & Book
Both airlines have almost identical fare rules. For both of them, these flights can be booked at this price until July 10, 2019. Also, the flights have to be flown before September 30th. The maximum stay is limited to 12 months.
You can use Google Flights to find your preferred available dates, and then find the cheapest fare on Skyscanner. You can, of course, also book directly on the airlines’ websites, but especially for Air Europa, you’ll be paying quite a bit more (around €1,835 at aireuropa.com, €1,534 at iberia.com). To facilitate your search for available dates, we’ve put together an availability calendar for trips of 2-9 days:

Air Europa Business Class
Air Europa arranges seats in a 2-2-2 configuration. All seats are facing forwards with a slight angle towards the neighboring seat. While this is uncommon, it has not been criticized as too intimate. Especially the food & beverage service has received great reviews. A highlight of Air Europa’s Business Class is the baggage allowance of 3 x 23kg.
Due to the dense seating (for Business Class flights) and friendly flight attendants, Air Europa’s Business Class has been deemed to convince with warmth & personality, not luxury. A more detailed review can be found here (Boeing 787) and here (Airbus A330).
