In early 2025, you can spend a week onboard the MSC Opera for only €489 per person, exploring the Canary Islands and Madeira. During that week, all meals, basic drinks, and tips are included.

The Route
This itinerary offers a journey through the Canary Islands and Madeira, starting and ending in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Stops include Las Palmas on Gran Canaria, followed by Fuerteventura, known for its unique desert-like landscapes. A day at sea provides a chance to relax before arriving in Funchal, Madeira, with its lush greenery and mountain views. The route continues to Santa Cruz de La Palma, a town with a rich colonial history, and Arrecife on Lanzarote, famous for its volcanic terrain. The trip concludes with a return to Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

The Ship
While MSC Opera is one of the older/smaller ships, it’s still very stylish and a great place to spend a week. It entered into service in 2004 as part of the Lirica class and went through a renovation in 2015. It boasts a huge theatre, many restaurants, pools, jacuzzis, a spa, a gym and even a minigolf course. The cabins look like most MSC ships.
