Low-cost airline Norse Atlantic Airways debuts its new route from Rome to Los Angeles next year. Currently, one-way tickets to California are available for as little as €148 with a cabin bag and €218 with 20kg of hold luggage. Round-trips aren’t nearly as attractive, as these tickets price out at €541 – without any extras.
Our availability calendar highlights all possible flight dates at the lowest price for trips up to 28 days. It will forward you to Norse with your selected flight dates.

You will fly with Norse Atlantic Airways on a Boeing 787 with a 3-3-3 seating configuration in economy. Bear in mind that Norse Atlantic Airways is a no-frills airline, so you will have to pay for drinks and meals during your flight.
Most Europeans need an electronic system for travel authorization (ESTA) to enter the USA for up to 90 days. This costs US$21 (~€19) and you should apply for it a couple of days before your trip, at the latest.
There are some cases where you cannot apply for an ESTA, e.g. if you’ve been to Cuba since 2021 or to Iran, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, or North Korea since March 2011. In those cases, you’ll need to get a visa from a US embassy or consulate, which can take multiple weeks.
Search & Book
This deal doesn’t have an expiration date. There is neither a minimum nor a maximum stay requirement, since it is a low-cost carrier.
You can find suitable dates using our calendar above or with the help of Google Flights. We recommend booking directly on Norse’s website.
Bags, Food & Mileage
Norse Atlantic Airlines does not offer a frequent flyer program. Further, the airline is not affiliated with other airlines’ programs. You will earn zero miles in any case.
They are also a low-cost airline, which can come with serious setbacks. While travellers got used to not being allowed to bring checked bags for free and having to pay for seat selection on Transatlantic flights, we are pretty much used to an okay meal and a satisfactory pre-landing snack. Unfortunately, Norse offers neither: as a low-cost airline, you have to pay €28 for a main meal and a whopping €19 for a pre-landing snack. But at least a 10 kg carry-on and a personal item are included!

In true ULCC fashion, the prices can get pretty confusing upon adding extras. It is possible that it would have been cheaper to select the more expensive fare. Here are some of the add-on prices and fares:
