Norse Atlantic Airways is offering a birthday sale with transatlantic flights with prices starting as low as US$72 (~€61). The price for Economy Classic is €85 (~US$100) extra per segment, but it includes standard checked luggage up to 23 kg, one meal service, and a carry-on item up to 10 kg. Departures are available between September 2024 and June 2025, depending on the route.
The sale is not limited to transatlantic connections, as you can also score decent prices between Oslo and Bangkok.
Here are some of the routes where you can take advantage of this deal in economy class:
- New York → London at €76 (~US$89)
- New York → Berlin at €86 (~US$101)
- Miami → Berlin at €86 (~US$101)
- Orlando → London at €101 (~US$119)
- Miami → London at €105 (~US$123)
- Las Vegas → London at €121 (~US$142)
This deal is also available in premium economy when flying from New York:
- New York → London at €210 (~US$247)
- New York → Berlin at €284 (~US$333)
In premium economy, you can also score decently priced tickets from and to Bangkok:
- Oslo → Bangkok at €372 (~NOK 4,365)
- Bangkok – Oslo at €346 (~THB 13,179)
Please note that Norse’s currency exchange rate is quite high. We advise you to pay in USD. You can change the currency in the top right corner of the website. For the premium economy fare, you would pay around €35 more should you pay in EUR, depending on your bank’s currency exchange rate.
Our calendar displays the lowest fares for each available flight date in green. Choose your preferred dates, and we’ll redirect you to Norse or Skyscanner for booking your flight. You can toggle between booking classes to find the prices mentioned above.

Recently, numerous reports surfaced that Norse Atlantic faces serious financial difficulties. That doesn’t necessarily mean insolvency is already on the doorstep, but it’s enough reason to be cautious. That’s why we recommend purchasing Norse tickets with a Visa or Mastercard. In recent cases, American Express denied customers chargebacks after airline insolvencies.
You will fly with Norse Atlantic Airways on a Boeing 787 with a 3-3-3 seating configuration in economy and a 2-4-2 configuration in premium economy. Bear in mind that Norse Atlantic Airways is a no-frills airline, so you will have to pay for drinks and meals during your flight.
With the base fare, you can only bring a personal item, similar to Ryanair. If you wish to bring a carry-on bag or a large backpack, you will have to pay around €45 each way in economy. This is included if you fly premium economy.
Search & Book
This deal doesn’t have an expiration date. There is neither a minimum nor a maximum stay requirement, since it is a low-cost carrier.
You can find suitable dates using our calendar above or with the help of Google Flights. We recommend booking directly on Norse’s website.
Why is booking with an airline better than with an online travel agency?
More often than not, online travel agencies offer lower fares than airlines do. We still recommend booking with the airlines directly. There are two main reasons for that:
Better Customer Service
In case any problems like delays, cancellations or missed connections arise, you can communicate directly with the airline. The airline has to take care of you because you have a contract with them.
If a travel agency issues your ticket, you may have to reach out to them first. You also depend on your OTA to forward information like flight changes instead of receiving them directly from the airline. In many cases, you may get a prime exhibition of responsibility shifting rather than problem-solving.
This especially applies to premium tickets. You don’t want to spend more than €1,000 to wind up with some budget OTA’s telephone hotline in case anything goes wrong.
Baggage and Other Fees
Economy fares not including hold luggage are industry standard by now. In most cases, travel agencies charge much higher baggage fees than the airlines themselves. If bags are not included in your fare, airlines are often the cheaper alternative.
This also applies to other things like food services, insurances or priority treatment. In almost all cases, you pay less for additional amenities when booking on the airlines’ website.
Bags, Food & Mileage
Norse Atlantic Airlines does not offer a frequent flyer program. Further, the airline is not affiliated with other airlines’ programs. You will earn zero miles in any case.
They are also a low-cost airline, which can come with serious setbacks. While travellers got used to no allowed checked bags and paid seat selection on Transatlantic flights, we are pretty much used to a carry-on bag, an okay meal and a satisfactory pre-landing snack. Unfortunately, Norse offers none of them: as a low-cost airline, you will only be able to bring a small backpack, and you have to pay US$30 (~€26) for a main meal and a whopping US$20 (~€17) for a pre-landing snack.
In true ULCC fashion, the prices can get pretty confusing upon adding extras. It is possible that it would have been cheaper to select the more expensive fare. Here are some of the add-on prices and fares:
