With the Norwegian Jewel from Norwegian Cruise Line, you can embark on a transatlantic cruise in October 2025. The journey takes you from Barcelona to Miami and includes stops in Spain and the Azores. The current price of €36 per night is a true bargain for an inside cabin on such a transatlantic route.
You can currently book a 12-night cruise in an inside cabin from just €435 per person. However, the oceanview cabins from €643 and balcony cabins from €825 are significantly more appealing (prices per person based on double occupancy). Solo travellers can join the cruise in an inside cabin from €435 without single supplement.

Route
Your journey begins in the vibrant city of Barcelona, Spain. You’ll board the ship and set sail at 5 p.m. on October 15, giving you some time to explore the city beforehand if you arrive early.
After a relaxing day at sea, your first port of call is Cádiz, Spain, a historic city on the Andalusian coast. You’ll have a full day to explore its old town and beautiful beaches before departing in the evening.
Following two more days at sea, you’ll reach the stunning Azores archipelago, making a stop at Ponta Delgada on the island of São Miguel. This is your chance to experience the unique volcanic landscapes and lush greenery of this mid-Atlantic gem.
The final leg of your journey is a six-day transatlantic crossing. This extended period at sea is perfect for enjoying all the amenities the Norwegian Jewel has to offer before you arrive at your final destination, Miami, Florida, on the morning of October 27.

Most Europeans need an electronic system for travel authorization (ESTA) to enter the USA for up to 90 days. This costs US$21 (~€19) and you should apply for it a couple of days before your trip, at the latest.
There are some cases where you cannot apply for an ESTA, e.g. if you’ve been to Cuba since 2021 or to Iran, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, or North Korea since March 2011. In those cases, you’ll need to get a visa from a US embassy or consulate, which can take multiple weeks.
