Rotana Hotels and Resorts is a hotel chain operating more than 100 properties in Africa, Turkey and the Middle East. If you happen to travel that part of the world regularly and currently holding a status with Marriott Bonvoy, IHG One Rewards, Accor Live Limitless or Hilton Honors, we have good news for you: The chain’s loyalty program Rotana Rewards is currently offering a status match, up to its highest tier, Rotana Rewards Select Platinum. And as a Platinum member, you can even benefit from suite upgrades!

You will need to hold at least gold tier with one of the programs mentioned above. Anything below that level will unfortunately not be considered.
How To Match Your Status
Getting your current tier matched is a rather simple process. Just follow these steps, and you should be successful.
- Sign up for Rotana Rewards
If you’re not a member of Rotana’s loyalty program, you will have to sign up first. This link will bring you directly to the landing page.
- Get Proof of Your Current Status
Rotana wants to see evidence that supports your claim of holding status with another hotel program. This could be a screenshot of your online account, app or just a picture of your membership card.
- Request the Match
Now it’s time to actually request the match. Fill out this form and attach the documents that prove your current tier.
- Wait for Your Status to be Updated
Once everything is done, you just have to wait for feedback from Rotana. It typically takes around 7-14 business days for the customer service to reply.
Confirmed Matches
As of now, we did get feedback on the following matches:
- Hilton Honors Diamond -> Rotana Select Platinum
- Hilton Honors Gold -> Rotana Select Gold
- Accor Hotels ALL Platinum -> Rotana Select Platinum
- IHG Spire Elite (now Diamond Elite) -> Rotana Platinum

Rotana Rewards & Benefits
Rotana Rewards is the loyalty program run by the same-named hotel chain. The company has over 100 hotels in the Middle East as well as in Turkey. In addition to Rotana, the portfolio also includes the brands Centro, Rayhaan, Arjaan, and The Residences. Most of the 4 and 5-star hotels are located in the United Arab Emirates.
The program has three different levels. Each one comes with a set of benefits:

- 10% discount on room rate, as well as food and beverages
- Late check-out until 2 p.m. (based on availability)
- Rotana Select Gold
- Upgrade to next room category (based on availability)
- 10% discount on room, rate as well as food and beverages
- 10% discount on spa treatments
- Late check-out until 4 p.m. (based on availability)
- 15% bonus points
- Pay only six nights when staying seven
- Rotana Select Platinum
- Upgrade to next room category, including suites (based on availability)
- Free premium internet
- Check-in and check-out at any time (based on availability)
- 10% discount on room rate as well as food and beverages
- 20% discount on spa treatments
- Club Rotana (lounge) access for two people
- 25% bonus points
- Pay only four nights when staying five
It is safe to say that the Platinum status is the one with the most impressive benefits. Lounge and around the clock late check out are definitely worth it! But even if you’re currently not holding status with any other loyalty program, you might want to consider signing up for Rotana Rewards. Even the basic Rotana Select level will get you some perks.

while I am a diamond elite ihg, I was only given select ( basic level). looks like a scam as I am nearing a million points at ihg and a decade old relationship. Rotana tier match looks to be a information catching scam
Looks cool, but the status match form does not work for me. It just says I’ve inserted invalid data. Weird
