SAS: 20% Bonus on Gift Card Purchases until Christmas Eve

SAS Heck

For the Christmas season, SAS Scandinavian Airlines is running a promotion for purchasing gift cards. Just like last year, the SkyTeam member is offering a 20% bonus on the credit value. For example, you can purchase a voucher worth €600 for only €500. This corresponds to a discount of 16.7%.

Please note that a maximum of two vouchers can be redeemed at once during booking. Any remaining balance will be preserved.

The offer is part of the SAS Advent Calendar and is valid until December 24, 2025. The vouchers are valid for 2 years after purchase, meaning you can redeem them until the end of December 2027.

As soon as you add a value voucher to your shopping cart, the bonus is automatically applied. The following values are available for selection:

  • €60 gift card for €50 (-16.7%)
  • €120 gift card for €100 (-16.7%)
  • €240 gift card for €200 (-16.7%)
  • €600 gift card for €500 (-16.7%)

In addition to Euro, you can also purchase vouchers in Danish Krone, Norwegian Krone, and Swedish Krone. However, SAS converts the currencies at fair rates anyway, so you can easily book flights from Scandinavia even with Euro vouchers.

Conditions

  • The offer is only valid until December 24, 2025.
  • The vouchers are valid for 24 months and expire thereafter without replacement (since the vouchers are sold only in shops in Denmark, Sweden, Norway & Finland, the German 3-year statute of limitations apparently does not apply).
  • You have a 14-day right of withdrawal and can cancel (unused) gift cards during this period.
  • In the event of irregularities (e.g., flight cancellation by the airline), you will only receive a gift voucher, not a full refund (the legality of this is a separate matter).
  • A maximum of two vouchers can be redeemed per booking (according to the FAQ)
  • The vouchers are not personalized and can be passed on or sold to anyone.
  • Any remaining balances are retained and can be used for the next booking.
  • Vouchers can only be used if the booking currency is identical to the voucher’s currency. However, you can also pay in Euro for departures from abroad.
