Most itineraries consist of a long-haul SAS flight to New York onboard their long-haul fleet consisting of Airbus A350, A330 and A321LR aircraft. While these have varying seating patterns, you can expect video-on-demand and power outlets on all seats.

In most cases, you will continue your journey on an Alaska Airlines planes, in most cases from New York or Los Angeles. Since their Boeing 737-fleet does not feature personal monitors, you might want to stay on a Scandinavian Airlines plane as long as possible. Some itineraries include flights with Delta Air Lines.

According to the fare rules, these tickets are on sale without an expiration date for travel between November 2024 and March 2025. A minimum stay of six days or one night from Saturday to Sunday is necessary to get the lowest fare. You cannot travel two weeks before and after Christmas.

Google Flights helps you find additional flight dates or itineraries and destinations that require longer layovers. Since the cheapest tickets with checked bags are sold directly by SAS, it makes sense to book there directly. To some destinations, you can find much better availabilities on flysas.com than Google indicates.
