Scandic Hotels is offering discounted hotel stays including breakfast for Black Week with a special booking code. The travel period runs from December 13, 2024, to March 24, 2025, and the offer can be booked until December 2, 2024. However, the rate is non-refundable.

As a Scandic Friends member (registration is free), you can receive an additional 4-15% discount.
We found great discounts using the booking code in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. Scandic also operates hotels in Germany and Poland, but here the price advantage is either very small or the booking code makes the hotel significantly more expensive. Be sure to compare prices with and without the booking code!
Price Check
We looked at a few hotels in each country where Scandic has hotels:
- Let’s start in Denmark, where the Scandic Spectrum in Copenhagen is charging DKK 890 (~€119) on January 8, instead of the usual DKK 1,106 (~€148). Here, you’re getting a decent discount of 20%.
- Now let’s travel to Finland, where you can book the Scandic Grand Marina in Helsinki for €84 on January 5 using the code, instead of €108 without the code. Here, you’d be saving 22%.
- In Stockholm, the Scandic No 53 is available on January 12-13 for SEK 751 (~€68) as a Scandic Friends member. Without the booking code, the next lowest price is SEK 1,012 (~€92), also non-refundable. That’s a 26% discount.
- In Oslo, the Scandic St. Olavs plass is available on February 9-10 for NOK 941 (~€81) as a Scandic Friends member. Without the booking code, the non-refundable price with breakfast costs NOK 1,294 (~€111), i.e. you’re saving 27%.
- Even greater savings are available at the Grand Hotel in Oslo, where a night including breakfast costs NOK 1,511 (~€130) with the booking code instead of NOK 2,797 (~€241). This is a 46% discount! Even other booking platforms don’t offer this hotel for less than €270.
- For those wanting to see the northern lights, the Scandic Ishavshotel in Tromsø is available in December from NOK 1,590 (~€137) per night. Normally, the non-flex rate directly from Scandic is €380 per night, which is also the best price on Trivago. This represents a 64% savings!
However, not all offers are beneficial, e.g. at the Scandic Gdansk the price with the booking code is PLN 384 (~€90), while without the code, it’s only PLN 309 (~€73).
In Germany, the Scandic Hamburg Emporio costs €152 with the code compared to €159 without it. The discount here is hardly worth it.
