With the Sky Princess from Princess Cruises, you can embark on a transatlantic crossing in March 2026. The journey takes you from Port Canaveral, Florida to Southampton and includes stops in the Azores, Morocco, and Spain. The current price of €57 per night is a true bargain for an inside cabin on such a scenic transatlantic route.
You can currently book a 15-night cruise in an inside cabin from just €808 per person. However, the balcony cabins from €1,136 are significantly more appealing (prices per person based on double occupancy). Solo travelers can join the cruise in an inside cabin from €1,581.

The cruise price includes full board in the main and buffet restaurants, as well as coffee, water, tea, and iced tea during the buffet’s opening hours. Most onboard facilities and activities (e.g., use of sunbeds and pools on the outer deck, shows in the theatre, gym, etc.) are also included in your cruise.
Princess Cruises adds an automatic crew gratuity of US$17 per person, per day to your onboard account.
If you live in Europe, we recommend booking through Travel-Dealz, and if you live in the USA, book via CruiseDirect, as long as the price difference is not significant. If the difference is considerable, you can choose the cheaper option, but keep in mind that the consumer guarantees are different for Americans and Europeans.
Route
Your cruise begins in Port Canaveral, near Orlando. In recent years, the city has made a name for itself as a centre of American space exploration. You can learn more about this at the Kennedy Space Center. In the surrounding area, you will also find beautiful beaches, such as Cocoa Beach. The ship leaves port in the afternoon where you will start your journey across the Atlantic ocean.
The first port of call is Ponta Delgada, the capital of the Azores. A trip to the old town, which features many historic buildings, is well worth it. The Gruta do Carvão, a fascinating lava tube, is also a must-see.
Afterwards, the Sky Princess continues to Casablanca. The largest city in Morocco is an important commercial and economic hub. Its most impressive structure is arguably the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, with a minaret that stands 210 meters tall.
The ship then heads north to the port of La Coruña in Spain. There, you can discover sights such as the Tower of Hercules. It is the oldest operational lighthouse in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Another highlight is Monte de San Pedro, a park with panoramic views accessible by a funicular. The journey ends after 15 nights in Southampton, southern England.

Most Europeans need an electronic system for travel authorization (ESTA) to enter the USA for up to 90 days. This costs US$21 (~€19) and you should apply for it a couple of days before your trip, at the latest.
There are some cases where you cannot apply for an ESTA, e.g. if you’ve been to Cuba since 2021 or to Iran, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, or North Korea since March 2011. In those cases, you’ll need to get a visa from a US embassy or consulate, which can take multiple weeks.
