LuxuryEscapes is currently selling rooms for multiple five-star hotels in Thailand’s capital Bangkok at a discounted price.
The portal offers a stay at the five-star rated Sofitel Sukhumvit hotel for €171 per night, if you stay at least three nights at the property. The rate includes breakfast and lounge access. The latter means you can enjoy breakfast in a more private ambience, as well as access to free afternoon tea, evening canapés and the nightly cocktail happy hour.
You need to enter our promo code dealz8
during payment to get this price. You can read more about the discount here. The offer is available almost daily until November 2026, but you have to book by October 27, 2025 to secure the price.

You don’t necessarily need to decide on specific dates right away. LuxuryEscapes also allows you to lock in the price and then flexibly redeem the voucher until October 31, 2026, travelling by November 30, 2026. To do this, click on Buy now, choose dates later under the large Check availability button.
You’d be staying in a 37m² Luxury Room (which is advertised as 42m² on Accor’s website). The included lounge access not only gives you breakfast alongside snacks and canapés in the evening, but it also comes with a free flow of water and soft drinks during opening hours. One three-course-dinner is also included once during your stay.

LuxuryEscapes Cancellation Policy
LuxuryEscapes offers a rather complicated cancellation policy. It basically comes in three steps:
- Until 7 days after booking: You get a full refund in your original payment form. This is the last chance to get your money back.
- over 46 days before your stay: You can get a full refund in form of a LuxuryEscapes credit. You won’t get your money back, but can use it to book a different hotel on LuxuryEscapes.
- Less than 45 days before you stay: You won’t get a refund in any form if you cancel or no-show.
The Hotel
The Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit is a 5-star hotel, located in a very tall building, and widely recognized to be one of the best hotels in Sukhumvit, Bangkok. The hotel’s amenities include a fitness centre, a restaurant, and a concierge that offers very friendly service. The rooms have good beds and large bathrooms. It’s very close to both the Nana and Asok BTS stations.

Previous guests have left good reviews (e.g. 4.5/5 on Google or 4.6/5 on Tripadvisor), many of them praising the great location, the well-equipped gym, the great atmosphere, and the above-average pool. Merely the air conditioning has been criticized by some guests, some of them noting that it was rather old, i.e. a bit loud and not as effective as newer ones.
The hotel is located in the Watthana neighbourhood, meaning that you can get almost anywhere quite quickly using the public transport options. Wat Arun, for instance, is only 30 minutes away by bus. There are also plenty of restaurants in the direct vicinity of the hotel. As Bangkok’s airport isn’t very close to the city centre, you’ll have to plan at least 40 minutes to get there.
Information & Tips for Bangkok
Bangkok is known for its vibrant street life, cultural landmarks, and bustling markets. Key sights include the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and the lively Khao San Road. The local currency is the Thai baht (THB), and while credit cards are widely accepted in hotels and large stores, cash is preferred for smaller vendors. The city is relatively affordable, with street food and public transport offering great value. Bangkok has a tropical climate, with hot and humid weather year-round, a rainy season from May to October, and cooler, more comfortable temperatures from November to February.
We’ve compared various esim providers, such as Nomad, Airhub, and RedteaGO. To see which plan is best for your travel needs and which network offers the best coverage, feel free to read our detailed guide:

Price Check
We have checked prices for travel in 2026, although the advertised rate of €515 for three nights is available in 2025, as well. The average rate with lounge access and breakfast is available for €300 per night or €900 in total – €130 more per night than LuxuryEscapes’ offer.
Prices fluctuate throughout very little during the year, ranging for €280 per night for short term stays in September 2025 to €320 per night in February and March 2026. LuxuryEscapes’ price stays put at €172/night and beats the hotels’ offer in every instance.

Hi, you seem to market quite a lot of these Secret Escape deals. I’m fine with the affiliate logic of your website, however I would like to know if you have personally used that agency? The reviews for example at tripadvisor forum give a bit of a dodgy feeling of this: when everything goes well, it might be a good deal but the moment something happens, you don’t have any contact to the company etc. What is your take on this? Thanks for the wonderful web page otherwise!
Hi Antti!
Our founder Johannes is quite a fan of Secret Escapes and has never run into problems. He supposes most negative reviews are from the early Covid period, when cancellations were major issues.
