Our availability calendar highlights all possible flight dates at the lowest price for trips up to 28 days. It will forward you to Skyscanner with your selected flight dates, or to TAP’s website. Skyscanner has these tickets up to €35 cheaper, but TAP’s website is the better choice if you want to purchase the fare that includes luggage.
Please note that more dates may be available, but they require an overnight stay in Lisbon. On the other hand, you can use this opportunity to visit Lisbon with the stopover program from TAP Air Portugal, which you can book using their website.

After flying to Lisbon, you will continue to Brazil either with an Airbus A330-900neo with a 2-4-2 configuration or an Airbus A321neo with a 3-3 configuration, depending on your routing.
Most Europeans do not need a visa to enter Brazil, as long as they don’t stay for more than 90 days within a 180-day period. You merely need to have an empty page in your passport.
Search & Book
The minimum stay requirement is 5 days and you can only spend a maximum of one month at the destination. Departures are available between September 2025 and April 2026.
You can find available dates quickly and easily with the help of Google Flights. We recommend booking directly on TAP Air Portugal’s website, but you can find cheaper prices with Skyscanner. However, booking on OTAs has its downsides.
Why is booking with an airline better than with an online travel agency?
More often than not, online travel agencies offer lower fares than airlines do. We still recommend booking with the airlines directly. There are two main reasons for that:
Better Customer Service
In case any problems like delays, cancellations or missed connections arise, you can communicate directly with the airline. The airline has to take care of you because you have a contract with them.
If a travel agency issues your ticket, you may have to reach out to them first. You also depend on your OTA to forward information like flight changes instead of receiving them directly from the airline. In many cases, you may get a prime exhibition of responsibility shifting rather than problem-solving.
This especially applies to premium tickets. You don’t want to spend more than €1,000 to wind up with some budget OTA’s telephone hotline in case anything goes wrong.
Baggage and Other Fees
Economy fares not including hold luggage are industry standard by now. In most cases, travel agencies charge much higher baggage fees than the airlines themselves. If bags are not included in your fare, airlines are often the cheaper alternative.
This also applies to other things like food services, insurances or priority treatment. In almost all cases, you pay less for additional amenities when booking on the airlines’ website.
Miles & Points
Unfortunately, the booking class is O. Miles are then only available for very few programs, e.g. from Rome:
- 2,270 Award Miles + 160 Points on Miles&More
- 1,036 Miles on Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles
- 1,036 Award Miles on Emirates Skywards
- 1,036 Extra Points on SAS EuroBonus
- 1,036 Miles on Egyptair Plus
- 1,036 Award Miles on Etihad Guest
- 834 Miles on Hainan Fortune Wings Club
- 518 Miles on Azul TodoAzul

Note that TAP’s own frequent flyer program gives 0 miles if you book the Discount fare, while you’ll earn roughly 5,000 miles with the Basic fare.
