French leisure carrier Transavia has a lot of attractive fares with departure from France. During the 2024/2025 Winter, the airline serves Dubai directly from Toulouse – and sells round trips for as little as €196. Sadly, this fare does not include checked bags or a cabin bag.
A 15 kg bag comes with the price tag of €33 per way on Transavia’s website, A cabin bag costs an additional €53 when purchased separately. The cheapest bundle including luggage starts at €289. This fare type will also grant you 16 XP on FlyingBlue. Departures are available between December 2024 and March 2025.

One-Way from Toulouse for €89
The oneway fares are almost as attractive as the roundtrips. You can fly for €89 non-stop to Dubai, with a checked bag of 15 kg adding €33 to the ticket price.
Transavia operates Boeing 737-800 airplanes between France and Dubai. These planes have a 3-3 seating pattern in economy class. Flights to Dubai are non-stop flights, the inbounds to Lyon and Toulouse require a refueling stop in Athens. Flights from Marseille are non-stop in both directions.
Most Europeans citizens can enter the United Arab Emirates for 90 days without a visa, if visiting for touristic or business purposes.

When adding a checked bag to your flight, you have two options. You can either choose a bundle, that includes other extras such as free choice of seats, as well. Or you can skip that and continue the booking process with your base fare. The latter is usually cheaper.
Miles & Points
Transavia issues all tickets in booking class N, which does not earn miles in any program. However, by booking the basic fare (which does not include luggage), you can earn 4 XP in Air France and KLM’s Flying Blue program, and by booking the plus fare (which includes luggage), you can earn 16 XP.
