Toronto Skyline from Toronto Island by night

WestJet is currently offering very cheap one-way flights across the Atlantic. On the route from Dublin to Toronto, you can secure tickets from just €95. Catering is included, as well as carry-on baggage (56 × 36 × 23 cm) and a personal item (41 × 33 × 14 cm).

If you want to fly with checked baggage, it’s best to book directly on WestJet’s website. With the UltraBasic fare, you can add a 23 kg suitcase for €47, bringing the total price to €151. Premium Economy from €439 (recliner seats) is also not entirely unattractive.

On selected dates at the end of April, there are also one-way flights from Dublin to Halifax from €103, slightly cheaper than recently.

Hint

If you hold frequent flyer status with Delta SkyMiles, you also benefit from additional checked baggage even on the Basic fare. As a Silver Medallion, for example, you get 1 × 23 kg free baggage, with more included at higher status levels.

Search & Book

The fare rules do not indicate an expiration date for this offer. The travel period runs from March 12 to April 30, 2026.

To search for dates, we recommend using our calendar above or alternatively Google Flights (guide). You can then book from €95 via third-party providers like Trip.com or directly with WestJet (from €102). The latter option is particularly recommended if you need additional services, such as checked baggage.

Cheap Return Flights to Europe

Occasionally, WestJet offers round trips on the Dublin–Toronto route from €229. Otherwise, these flights are ideal for a combined trip to Canada and the USA, as there are still a number of cheap one-way tickets from the US back to Europe.

For example, you could fly with United, American from Buffalo to Dublin from €189:

… or alternatively to many other cities in Europe for a similar price.

Buffalo is located close to the Canadian border and can easily be combined with a visit to Niagara Falls. Train tickets from Toronto to Niagara Falls are available from just CA$10 (~€6). From there, you can continue to Buffalo for only €2 by local bus (from the US side) or from €8 with, for example, FlixBus.

Alternatively, you could take Amtrak (US$60 (~€50)) to New York City and fly back from there.

Miles & Points

The tickets are issued in booking class E. Unfortunately, the cheapest Basic fare does not earn any miles. If you book the Econo fare (from €149) or higher, you will at least earn revenue-based miles with WestJet Rewards or alternatively:
