Da Nang and Hoi An in Central Vietnam are two of the country’s most attractive tourist destinations. The two cities are just a 30-minute drive apart and connected by a long, wide and beautiful beach. Directly located on its shores, you can find the Wyndham Royal Beachfront Resort. You can currently stay at the resort for as little as €116/night when booking through LuxuryEscapes. The price includes daily breakfast, either lunch or dinner, a free drink each evening and a free transfer from/to Da Nang airport.

You don’t necessarily need to decide on specific dates right away. LuxuryEscapes also allows you to lock in the price and then flexibly redeem the voucher you get until May 2026. To do that, click on Buy now, check availability later under the big Check Availability button.
You’d be staying in a 55m² Deluxe Room with a large balcony and usual amenities like a mini fridge, kettle and a walk-in shower. For an upcharge of €39 per night per person (or €390 in total), you can also book an all-included package. This expands the inclusions to both lunch and dinner, as well as a free flow of drinks.
LuxuryEscapes Cancellation Policy
LuxuryEscapes offers a rather complicated cancellation policy. It basically comes in three steps:
- Until 7 days after booking: You get a full refund in your original payment form. This is the last chance to get your money back.
- over 46 days before your stay: You can get a full refund in form of a LuxuryEscapes credit. You won’t get your money back, but can use it to book a different hotel on LuxuryEscapes.
- Less than 45 days before you stay: You won’t get a refund in any form if you cancel or no-show.

The Hotel
The five-star Wyndham Hoi An Royal Beachfront Resort is located a ten-minute drive outside Hoi An’s picturesque city centre and approximately thirty minutes outside Da Nang, and its centrally located airport. While the LuxuryEscape fare only includes an airport transfer in one direction, a taxi or ride-share to Vietnam’s third-largest city shouldn’t cost you more than ₫250,000 (~€8). The city center of Hoi An is even closer and offers beautiful sights during the day and an enchanting festival of colours after sunset.
While the beaches are beautiful, the strong current limits swimming activities to secured areas near the beaches. Luckily, the hotel offers a large pool and a spa area, where you can both splash into the water or simply relax. At the Royal Cafe restaurant, you can enjoy breakfast and one additional meal (either lunch or dinner) each day. A daily cocktail or beer is also included, which you can enjoy at one of three bars.

Previous guests have left outstanding reviews of the hotel (e.g. 4.9/5 on Tripadvisor or 4.7/5 on Google), many praising the exceptional levels of service, the large beachfront, the elegant and welcoming atmosphere, the very well-maintained pool, the great location, and the fantastic food. No recurring points of criticism can be found.

Price Check
As we already established, booking with LuxuryEscapes results in a room rate of €116 per night or €580 in total for the minimum stay of five nights. The closest comparable rate on Wyndham’s website costs ₫6,500,000 (~€210) per night. And this price only includes breakfast, compared to LuxuryEscapes rate that includes a second hot meal (lunch or dinner), an evening cocktail and one airport transfer.

Online travel agencies like booking.com might offer you slightly cheaper prices for a refundable rate including breakfast, pricing out €88 per night. But the second hot meal of the day is missing from the offer. Since the location is rather remote, you’d most likely end up paying more than with LuxuryEscapes’ offer. Also, the 50% discount for stays in October is seasonal and not available for the entire year, giving less flexibility with your travel dates.

While it is possible to find cheaper hotels in the city centres of either Da Nang or Hoi An, the beachfront resorts in the area are notably more expensive.
