You’ll receive full board with breakfast, lunch, and dinner (some speciality restaurants excluded), as well as iced tea and lemonade on deck during the day. Participation in all onboard activities and use of ship facilities like the fitness centre, pool, library, nightclub, theatre, etc., during opening hours is also included.

If you live in Europe, we recommend booking through Travel-Dealz, and if you live in the USA, book via CruiseDirect, as long as the price difference is not significant. If the difference is considerable, you can choose the cheaper option, but keep in mind that the consumer guarantees are different for Americans and Europeans.

By the way, there are plenty of other attractive cruises departing from Florida in the next few months:

Visa Info

Most Europeans need an electronic system for travel authorization (ESTA) to enter the USA for up to 90 days. This costs US$21 (~€19) and you should apply for it a couple of days before your trip, at the latest.

There are some cases where you cannot apply for an ESTA, e.g. if you’ve been to Cuba since 2021 or to Iran, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, or North Korea since March 2011. In those cases, you’ll need to get a visa from a US embassy or consulate, which can take multiple weeks.

The Ship

The Zuiderdam (Vista Class) was completed in 2002 at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy. It is 285 meters long and 32 meters wide. It spans 11 decks and accommodates nearly 2,000 passengers and 800 crew members. The ship can reach speeds of up to 24 knots. Fun fact: In 2005, the Zuiderdam served as a hotel ship for the Super Bowl.

On board, you’ll find four restaurants (including Italian and Asian), several bars, and three pools. The ship also offers a spa and wellness area, a large art collection, a golf simulator, a fitness centre, various music and dance events, a show kitchen, and a casino. The onboard language is English, and the currency is U.S. dollars.

Flights

Flights to Miami are not super cheap at that time, especially because of the flight back to Europe during the Christmas holidays. The cheapest flights can be found from London, as the amount of competition between, e.g. the Oneworld airlines and Virgin Atlantic, keep the prices at an acceptable level. These are some example for the round trip flights, including luggage:
