Oneworld’s American Airlines is selling very cheap business class tickets for flights between Paris and New York. Roundtrips in either of the carrier’s business class cabins are available at roughly €1,197. SkyTeam members Delta and Air France have also joined the party, selling tickets for their service to New York at €1,306.
In case you have to cancel your trips, Air France offers a full refund for all trips in before March 31, 2022. Despite being more expensive, this makes their offer more attractive if you plan to travel this year.
The cheap AA tickets are only available when booking w/ British Airways. The airline allows you to cancel all flights starting before August 31, 2022, in exchange for a voucher. You can use that voucher for booking made up until September 30, 2023. It cannot be exchanged for a monetary refund, though.
Worldwide travel restrictions are in place to slow the spread of Covid-19. We strongly recommend gathering detailed information about the travel and quarantine restrictions that apply to your desired origin and destination.
A good start is the International Air Transport Association (IATA) website. It provides current updates on a country’s immigration policies. Even better, the Covid-19 Travel Regulations Map is one of the most useful tools you can find.
American Airlines’ offer shows availability into March 2022. Our availability calendar shows you all possible flight dates at the lowest fare for trips up to four weeks. It will forward you to British Airways website, where prices are lowest and refund policies are the best.
Air France’s offer shows availability until July 2022. While the tickets might be a bit more expensive, they might represent the better alternative for travel before March 31, 2022. The airline offers full refunds for all tickets booked this year and starting before December 31, 2021. American Airlines does not offer this service.

Search & Book
Both deals are set to expire on November 8, 2021. However, it could be withdrawn or run out of availability earlier.
Other than that, both airlines state that your trip has to include a Sunday. You can search for your ideal dates on Google Flights, and then directly book on the airline’s website (SkyTeam or Oneworld). The easiest choice, however, is simply using our calendars above.

American Airlines Business Class
Even if American Airlines doesn’t enjoy a good reputation for many, its business class is very good. Every seat on wide-body planes has direct access to the aisle and the service, as well as the food and the seat, are at a very high standard. Travel-Dealz founder Johannes tested the Boeing 777 and really enjoyed the flight.
Air France Business Class
Let’s start with the negatives: Not only is Air France’s service usually below average (especially between meals), but their Business Light fare makes things even worse. Only 1 piece of luggage is included, and lounge access costs extra (except on flights to the US). On a positive note, almost all of their planes are equipped with a modern 1-2-1 business class by now.
Delta Business Class
If you’re travelling to North America, Delta is surely not a bad choice, especially if the route is operated with an Airbus plane. The seats in the Boeing 767 are good, but already quite old. The seats in the A330 and especially the A350, however, are on an extremely high level. All A330neo and A350 planes already have the Suite seats installed, which offer maximum privacy.
Information & Tips for USA
The United States offers a wide range of tourist sights, from national parks like Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon to cities such as New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. The currency is the U.S. dollar (USD), and card payments are widely accepted. Prices vary by region but can be high in major cities, especially for accommodation and dining. Weather differs greatly across the country—winters can be harsh in the north, while the south often stays mild; summers are generally hot and humid in many areas.
The U.S. transport infrastructure is highly car-dependent, especially outside major cities. Urban centres like New York, Chicago, and San Francisco have functional public transit, but many other cities have limited options. Between cities, domestic flights are common for long distances, while intercity buses and Amtrak trains cover some routes, though often with slower speeds and less frequency compared to other countries. Without a car, getting around can be inconvenient in many parts of the country.
