Star Alliance member TAP Portugal continues selling low-priced tickets to long-distance destinations. Currently, the airline offers round trips between Barcelona and Boston for as low as €324, including hand luggage, food, and drinks. You can find travel dates in November 2023 and between January and April 2024.
The quoted fare does not include checked bags. The cheapest fare including checked bags is available on TAP’s website at €452. While a short stop in Lisbon is necessary, you can add a lengthier stay in Portugal’s capital without increasing flight costs.
Our availability calendar highlights all possible flight dates at the lowest price for trips of 7 to 28 days. It will forward you to our flight search with your preselected flight dates. You can also check what TAP charges on their website. They sell these tickets up to €30 more expensive but charge less for checked bags than OTAs.

TAP uses Airbus A321neo aircraft for most of these transatlantic services. While a narrowbody might seem unusual for long-haul flights, each seat has in-flight entertainment screens and the same legroom as bigger planes.
Search & Book
The fare rules are not very helpful, as they give neither a sale nor a travel period. A minimum stay of six days or at least one night from Saturday to Sunday applies to get the lowest fare. Availability is pretty good in November 2023 and between January and April 2024.
The best way to book flights is to use our availability calendar above. If you’re looking for available flight dates for trips longer than four weeks, Google Flights will do the trick. If you’re going to travel without luggage, you can find the cheapest fare on our Travel-Dealz flight search. With luggage, you should book the Basic fare on TAP’s website.

Information & Tips for USA
The United States offers a wide range of tourist sights, from national parks like Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon to cities such as New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. The currency is the U.S. dollar (USD), and card payments are widely accepted. Prices vary by region but can be high in major cities, especially for accommodation and dining. Weather differs greatly across the country—winters can be harsh in the north, while the south often stays mild; summers are generally hot and humid in many areas.
The U.S. transport infrastructure is highly car-dependent, especially outside major cities. Urban centres like New York, Chicago, and San Francisco have functional public transit, but many other cities have limited options. Between cities, domestic flights are common for long distances, while intercity buses and Amtrak trains cover some routes, though often with slower speeds and less frequency compared to other countries. Without a car, getting around can be inconvenient in many parts of the country.
