American carrier jetBlue has started flights from New York to London this year. Along with it comes a nice deal for this new route: You can fly to New York in their Mint business class for £1,247 (~€1,434) from Gatwick. Nonstop tickets to Boston are available for just a little more. You can also depart from Heathrow, if that is more convenient for you.
You can find the following fares with departure from Gatwick:
- New York at £1,247 (~€1,434)
- Boston at £1,309 (~€1,505)
You can find the following fares with departure from Heathrow:
- New York at £1,285 (~€1,478)
- Boston at £1,386 (~€1,594)
Our availability calendar shows you all possible round trips at the lowest fare up to 28 days. After selecting an out- and inbound flight date, it will forward you to JetBlue where you can purchase your tickets.
It is also possible to tack on additional segments for around €200. The additional flights would see you sit in economy class, but still enjoy business class baggage allowance:
- Atlanta, Georgia at €1,642
- Orlando, Florida at €1,650
- San Juan, Puerto Rico at €1,716
- San Jose, Costa Rica at €1,865

Aircraft & Seats
The flights are operated with an Airbus A321 LR. You’d fly roughly 9 hours on the outbound flights and roughly 7 hours on your way back.
JetBlue ordered new Airbus A321 LR planes especially for their flights to London. These narrow-bodies have a great business class with lie-flat seats.
The plane has 22 Mint Suites and two Mint Studios in the first row. Every seat has direct access to the aisle. The Mint Studios are especially spacious, with a big sleeping area and a bigger TV screen. The Studios, however, cost €100 more.

Two pieces of luggage, each up to 32 kg, are included. Please be aware that JetBlue currently doesn’t operate any airport lounge, nor does it have a partnership.
The product has received glaring reviews from almost any major site.
Search & Book
The fare rules give no expiration date or travel period. You have to stay for at least 7 days (or a Sunday). You can find reasonably availabilities from October 2023 through April 2024.
Google Flights shows you additional flight dates and alternatives to JetBlue’s offer. These flights can be booked directly on jetblue.com.
Mileage
It seems that the tickets are issued in booking class I, which gives you the following options for a trip to New York:
- 8,996 Award Miles on Etihad Guest
- 8,650 Avios on Qatar Privilege Club
- 8,650 Award Miles on Singapore KrisFlyer

Information & Tips for USA
The United States offers a wide range of tourist sights, from national parks like Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon to cities such as New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. The currency is the U.S. dollar (USD), and card payments are widely accepted. Prices vary by region but can be high in major cities, especially for accommodation and dining. Weather differs greatly across the country—winters can be harsh in the north, while the south often stays mild; summers are generally hot and humid in many areas.
The U.S. transport infrastructure is highly car-dependent, especially outside major cities. Urban centres like New York, Chicago, and San Francisco have functional public transit, but many other cities have limited options. Between cities, domestic flights are common for long distances, while intercity buses and Amtrak trains cover some routes, though often with slower speeds and less frequency compared to other countries. Without a car, getting around can be inconvenient in many parts of the country.
