Oneworld member Finnair currently offers some decently priced nonstop flights from Northern Europe. In addition to their offer from Stockholm, you can buy a business class round trip from Helsinki to New York for just €1,196. Sadly, this fare just include the business class seat and service, but no checked bag or ground services you’d associate with premium travel.
The quoted prices are Finnair’s new business class light fares. It does not include checked bags, priority services, or lounge access. You’d have to select the business class classic fare for this, adding roughly €200 to the price.

Finnair uses brand-new Airbus A350-900 with their newest business class cabin on these flights. These planes feature lie-flat seats in a spacious 1-2-1 configuration up front.
Finnair Business Class
Finnair’s A350-900 business class receives some fairly good reviews. Seats are arranged in a 1-2-1 pattern that gives direct aisle access to every seat. Said seats are fully reclinable to a lie-flat-position. The cabin is kept in gray and white colors to reflect the airlines’ corporate color scheme. Some reviews criticize this as sterile.
While not reaching the luxury heights of Qatar Airways’ or Emirates’ premium cabin, Finnair still offers one of Europe’s superior business class products. You can read a more comprehensive review here.

Information & Tips for USA
The United States offers a wide range of tourist sights, from national parks like Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon to cities such as New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. The currency is the U.S. dollar (USD), and card payments are widely accepted. Prices vary by region but can be high in major cities, especially for accommodation and dining. Weather differs greatly across the country—winters can be harsh in the north, while the south often stays mild; summers are generally hot and humid in many areas.
The U.S. transport infrastructure is highly car-dependent, especially outside major cities. Urban centres like New York, Chicago, and San Francisco have functional public transit, but many other cities have limited options. Between cities, domestic flights are common for long distances, while intercity buses and Amtrak trains cover some routes, though often with slower speeds and less frequency compared to other countries. Without a car, getting around can be inconvenient in many parts of the country.
