Hong Kong: Finnair Business Class from Budapest at €1,449 (€1,609 incl. Checked Bags & Lounge Access)

Finnair Business Class HEL JFK Sitz Liegemodus

Oneworld member Finnair offers business class flights from Budapest, Hungary to Hong Kong starting at HUF 570,600 (~€1,463). Unfortunately, Finnair sells so-called Business Class Light tickets, where you’d need to pay extra for almost everything, including check-in bags, lounge access or seat selection. The cheapest ticket including that costs HUF 633,600 (~€1,624).

Oneworld Emerald, Sapphire members and Finnair Plus Silver members can bring one extra bag. Oneworld Emerald and Sapphire members can select seats for free and access lounges. So for them, Business Classic may not be necessary.

One way to add bags is to add them individually. On this route, a 23 kg luggage would cost an extra HUF 29,600 (~€76)/flight leg (HUF 59,200 (~€152) total). A probably better solution is to spend HUF 31,500 (~€81) per leg (HUF 63,000 (~€161) total) for Business Classic. That would get you 2×32 kg checked bags, lounge access, ticket change possibility, 1-hour internet access, and priority services.

Our availability calendar highlights all possible flight dates at the lowest price for trips up to 28 days. It will forward you to Finnair with your preselected flight dates. We have filtered out flights that take more than 24 hours. If you don’t mind a Helsinki layover, there are even more possible departures.

Due to the war, you can enjoy this business class seat even longer: for 12-14 hours and you’ll pass over Hungary a few hours after departing from there.
