Oslo ↔ New York: Nonstop Premium Economy with Norse for €474 r/t in October 2023 (Hold Luggage Adds €110)

New York

Low-cost carrier Norse Atlantic Airways has issued a pretty decent fare for nonstop services between New York and Oslo in their premium economy cabin. Tickets are available for as little as €474 (~NOK 5,562) for trips to New York and €474 (~US$556) for trips to Norway. This fare includes a cabin bag, but no hold luggage. Prices for checked bag start at €55 per direction.

Our availability calendar highlights all possible flight dates at the lowest price for trips up to 28 days. It will forward you to Norse Atlantic with your selected flight dates.

The airline uses ex-Norwegian Boeing 787-9 aircraft on the route, with a 3-3-3 configuration in economy. In premium economy, the seating is 2-3-2 with a pretty good recline. Reviews for the product seems like a mixture of premium economy seating with economy class service.

Included in Norse Atlantic’s premium economy fares are priority boarding, a hot meal after take off, a snack before landing and accompanying beverage service. The most valuable asset might be the cabin bag, given the price Norse usually attaches to it. A checked bag is not included in the fare and has to be purchased separately.

Information & Tips for USA

The United States offers a wide range of tourist sights, from national parks like Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon to cities such as New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. The currency is the U.S. dollar (USD), and card payments are widely accepted. Prices vary by region but can be high in major cities, especially for accommodation and dining. Weather differs greatly across the country—winters can be harsh in the north, while the south often stays mild; summers are generally hot and humid in many areas.

The U.S. transport infrastructure is highly car-dependent, especially outside major cities. Urban centres like New York, Chicago, and San Francisco have functional public transit, but many other cities have limited options. Between cities, domestic flights are common for long distances, while intercity buses and Amtrak trains cover some routes, though often with slower speeds and less frequency compared to other countries. Without a car, getting around can be inconvenient in many parts of the country.
