Shanghai: €3,515 Lufthansa/SWISS First Class Flights from Oslo

This deal includes two inner European flights in business class, two long-haul flights in first class and access to Lufthansa’s or Swiss’ astonishing first class lounges in Frankfurt or Zurich, among other perks. Departures are available from May 2024 to March 2025.

Depending on the carrier you choose, your trip will include a layover either in Germany or in Switzerland. From there, Lufthansa or Swiss will fly you to Shanghai. With Swiss, you will find yourself in an Airbus A340-300, while Lufthansa deploys the larger Airbus A340-600 on this route. The German carrier also offers daily flights with a Boeing 747-400, but these planes got no First Class cabin.

Lufthansa First Class

Lufthansa has its own terminal for First Class passengers! This and the food in Lufthansa’s First Class are widely considered to be among the best. The First Class terminal has its own airport security control, free food, hotel-like rooms with bed and bathtub, and so on. You get driven to the plane in a limousine.

The seat can be turned into a 210 cm long bed (roughly 80 cm wide) and has all the usual comforts, such as power sockets, inflight entertainment, WIFI, and so on.

SWISS First Class

In SWISS’ first class, you’ll be served excellent food in a comfortable seat that can be turned into a flat bed. Usually, the 8 first class seats are in a 1-2-1 formation, meaning that every seat has direct access to the aisle. You’ll be allowed to check in 3 pieces of luggage and bring 2 carry-ons. Tickets for the feeder flights in business class will be issued in booking class J, the one for the long-haul flight in A. Consequently, the earning rate will be somewhere between 125% and 300%, depending on which frequent flyer program you’ve signed up for.
