The Ship
The Costa Fascinosa (Concordia-class) was put into service in 2012 and accommodates around 3,800 passengers along with approximately 1,100 crew members. It is 290 meters long and 32 meters wide. With a tonnage of 114,500, it can reach a maximum speed of 23 knots. The ship features a “Cold Ironing” system, which allows it to shut down its engines while docked in port to reduce emissions. All Costa ships’ official onboard languages are Italian and English. The onboard currency is the Euro.
The ship has six restaurants, with the buffet restaurant and the main restaurant (with table service) included in the price. Drinks at the 12 bars and meals at the speciality restaurants must be paid for separately. However, the buffet restaurant offers free water dispensers and also serves a type of “juice” and coffee/tea in the mornings.

For an additional fee, you can enjoy amenities such as a 4D cinema, shopping centre, casino, Grand Prix simulator, golf simulator, and a wellness area of approximately 6,000 square meters. The wellness centre includes a thalassotherapy pool, treatment rooms, a sauna, a Turkish steam bath, and a solarium.
For children, there is a kids’ club with different age groups. The ship features both outdoor pools and an indoor pool with a retractable glass roof, making it very convenient in bad weather or colder regions. There are also whirlpools both indoors and outdoors.
