Star Alliance member Air China is offering a deal from Italy to Macau starting at just €364. This deal includes 23 kg of checked luggage. Departures are available from May, June, October, and November.
Additionally, there is also the option of open-jaw flights, with outbound travel to Macau and a return from Hong Kong starting at €387.
Roundtrips to Hong Kong only are also possible for €374. However, we’d recommend booking the flights to Macau or the open-jaws. Not only is Macau an impressive city that we only see deals to rather rarely, but also a 1-hour ferry ride to Hong Kong only costs around €20, so paying more to fly to Hong Kong instead of Macau doesn’t really make much sense. But that’s up to you.

You will first fly from Milan to Beijing with Air China on an Airbus A350 in a 3-3-3 configuration. The seat pitch is an average of 79 centimetres. All seats are equipped with a screen for in-flight entertainment. After a short layover, you will then continue to Macau with Air Macau Airbus A320 family. On the way back, the routing often has you flying via Shanghai or Chengdu, also with an Airbus A350.
Most European passport holders can stay in Macau and Hong Kong visa-free for up to 90 days.
