Bangkok: €1,580 Turkish Airlines Business Class from Amsterdam in Late August & Early September

turkish business 777 review

Star Alliance member Turkish Airlines currently offers some interesting business-class fares to Bangkok. Round trips from Amsterdam start at €1,556, or €1,580 with short layovers in Istanbul. This price includes priority services, lie-flat seats and lounge access. Departures are available in late August and early September.

Our availability calendar highlights all possible flight dates at the lowest price for trips up to 28 days. It will forward you to Turkish Airlines or Skyscanner with your selected flight dates. From there, you can check what OTAs have to offer, as they sell these tickets up to €100 cheaper.

Flights between Amsterdam and Bangkok are Airbus A330 services, with either lie-flat or angled-flat-seats in a 2-2-2 seating pattern in business class.

All flights between Istanbul and Bangkok are operated by Airbus A330s. These planes offer fully reclinable lie-flat seats up front, arranged in a 2-2-2 configuration. From personal experience, I can say that it’s not as bad as it sounds. Not only do I appreciate Turkish Airlines’ business class for its great food, but I actually think that these old business seats are great to sleep in (and I’m pretty tall).

Visa Info

Most European passport holders can stay in Thailand visa-free for up to 60 days.

This deal does not have an expiration date, but a maximum stay of twelve months apply. Departures are available in late August and early September 2025.

Our calendar above displays all available dates for trips of up to 28 days. For longer flights, check out Google Flights‘ calendar. The flights can be booked on Turkish Airlines’ website, but you can find slightly cheaper prices with Skyscanner. However, booking on OTAs has its downsides, so we don’t recommend it in this case.

Why is booking with an airline better than with an online travel agency?

More often than not, online travel agencies offer lower fares than airlines do. We still recommend booking with the airlines directly. There are two main reasons for that:

Better Customer Service
In case any problems like delays, cancellations or missed connections arise, you can communicate directly with the airline. The airline has to take care of you because you have a contract with them.

If a travel agency issues your ticket, you may have to reach out to them first. You also depend on your OTA to forward information like flight changes instead of receiving them directly from the airline. In many cases, you may get a prime exhibition of responsibility shifting rather than problem-solving.

This especially applies to premium tickets. You don’t want to spend more than €1,000 to wind up with some budget OTA’s telephone hotline in case anything goes wrong.

Baggage and Other Fees
Economy fares not including hold luggage are industry standard by now. In most cases, travel agencies charge much higher baggage fees than the airlines themselves. If bags are not included in your fare, airlines are often the cheaper alternative.

This also applies to other things like food services, insurances or priority treatment. In almost all cases, you pay less for additional amenities when booking on the airlines’ website.

Information & Tips for Bangkok

Bangkok is known for its vibrant street life, cultural landmarks, and bustling markets. Key sights include the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and the lively Khao San Road. The local currency is the Thai baht (THB), and while credit cards are widely accepted in hotels and large stores, cash is preferred for smaller vendors. The city is relatively affordable, with street food and public transport offering great value. Bangkok has a tropical climate, with hot and humid weather year-round, a rainy season from May to October, and cooler, more comfortable temperatures from November to February.

How is it possible that this business-class offer can be seen on the English version of this internet site, but not on the German? It is much easier to reach Talinn and Zagreb from Germany than from Britain.

    • Peer says:

Our German and English editorial team work independently. Travel-Dealz.com is targeted to whole of Europe, not only Britain.

Meanwhile on Travel-Dealz.de, we focus on deals that are either:
      a) departing from the D-A-CH area
      b) departing from other countries, but still worthwile when considering the journey + cost to get there

It’s probably not worth it to fly from Germany to Tallinn for this deal, so it won’t be published in the DE version. Just like most Britain’s wouldn’t do it. However, our readers from the Baltics may appreciate it.

  2. Milan says:

With all respect. 1800€ from 3rd tier cities in an old A330 with 2-2-2 configuration can hardly be considered a “deal”.

  3. Silvan Amberg says:

I was trying to book this ticket on the 29. November and on the 30. November. ITA Matrix shows the 1’504 EUR fares for most dates, but Turkish Airline website does not have it (not even on the dates shown in the fare calendar. Maybe they had already closed this offer shortly after announcement 🙁

    • Peer says:

Unfortunately, the Matrix isn’t reliable for Turkish Airlines flights. Their booking classes don’t match with what Turkish Airlines is really selling.

Better check Google Flights instead, their availability is usually accurate
