Star Alliance member Turkish Airlines currently offers some interesting business class fares to Bangkok. Round trips from Paris start at €1,506 with a single stop at Istanbul’s new airport. This price includes priority services, lie-flat seats and lounge access. There’s almost daily availability from May 2023 onward. You can find exactly the same prices with departure from Lyon, Marseille and Nice.
You can find this fare from the following French airports:
Our availability calendar shows you all available flight dates at the lowest fare for trips of 3 – 28 days. Once you’ve selected the dates that suit you best, you can be redirected to Turkish Airlines’ booking site. We set a duration filter, so trips with overnight transfers won’t show up. Booking through OTAs via the Travel-Dealz flight search is also an option, although savings of up to €50 may not be worth it to forfeit all the advantages of booking through the airline.
From Paris, you’ll usually fly in long-haul business class to Istanbul, probably in an A330 or Airbus A321. All flights between Istanbul and Bangkok are also Airbus A330 services. These planes offer fully reclinable lie-flat seats upfront, arranged in a 2-2-2 pattern.
Turkish Airlines Business Class
Turkish Airlines’ Business Class product receives a lot of praise, especially for their outstanding catering that features on-board chefs on long haul routes. Their seats are comfortable and fully reclineable to a lie flat position.
Main point of criticism is their 2-3-2 seating pattern aboard their Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, that denies direct aisle access to the middle seat. Their Airbus A330 family feature are 2-2-2 pattern, which solves this problem. These reviews describe Turkish Airlines’ business class as fantastic and highly underrated:

Our calendar above displays all available dates for trips of up to 28 days. For longer flights, check out Google Flights‘ calendar. The flights can be booked on Turkish Airlines’ booking site.
Why is booking with an airline better than with an online travel agency?
More often than not, online travel agencies offer lower fares than airlines do. We still recommend booking with the airlines directly. There are two main reasons for that:
Better Customer Service
In case any problems like delays, cancellations or missed connections arise, you can communicate directly with the airline. The airline has to take care of you because you have a contract with them.
If a travel agency issues your ticket, you may have to reach out to them first. You also depend on your OTA to forward information like flight changes instead of receiving them directly from the airline. In many cases, you may get a prime exhibition of responsibility shifting rather than problem-solving.
This especially applies to premium tickets. You don’t want to spend more than €1,000 to wind up with some budget OTA’s telephone hotline in case anything goes wrong.
Baggage and Other Fees
Economy fares not including hold luggage are industry standard by now. In most cases, travel agencies charge much higher baggage fees than the airlines themselves. If bags are not included in your fare, airlines are often the cheaper alternative.
This also applies to other things like food services, insurances or priority treatment. In almost all cases, you pay less for additional amenities when booking on the airlines’ website.
Turkish Airlines issues these tickets in booking class J. Most Star Alliance will credit 100% of your travel distance in award mileage, even without tier bonuses.

Information & Tips for Thailand
Thailand is an increasingly popular holiday destination for Europeans – both beach and party tourists get their money’s worth in the South Asian tropical state.
Whether Bangkok, Koh Samui or Phuket, Thailand offers multi-faceted cities and quiet beaches. Also, the country is always easy to reach from Europe. Especially to Bangkok, there is almost always at least a good deal!
Best Time to Visit
While hot summer temperatures prevail the whole year long in tropical Thailand, the best travel time is definitely the winter from November to February. Thanks to the northwest monsoon it doesn’t get warmer than 33 degrees. In summer the temperatures can quickly reach 40 degrees. The rainy season also starts in June and will last until October – high humidity is what you’ll have to prepare for!
Entry & Visa
Most EU citizens do not need a visa for stays up to a length of 30 days. The entry permit can be extended by another 30 days before expiration by local immigration authorities.
The national currency of Thailand is the Baht (THB) which is divided into Satang. One Euro is about 40 THB.

I was trying to book this ticket on the 29. November and on the 30. November. ITA Matrix shows the 1’504 EUR fares for most dates, but Turkish Airline website does not have it (not even on the dates shown in the fare calendar. Maybe they had already closed this offer shortly after announcement 🙁
Unfortunately, the Matrix isn’t reliable for Turkish Airlines flights. Their booking classes don’t match with what Turkish Airlines is really selling.
Better check Google Flights instead, their availability is usually accurate
