While gratuities are not included and bump the price up by another €200-300, depending on how generous you’re feeling during the 2-week cruise, the base price of only €41 per night is extremely low for an interior cabin, particularly if you are travelling solo. Also, flying back from Florida to Europe is very affordable, with prices starting at €293, including luggage.

The price includes all meals in the main restaurants, as well as coffee and tea during meals. Gratuities and alcoholic drinks are not included. The all-inclusive package costs roughly €31 extra per day.

The Ship

The Norwegian Dawn, launched in 2002 and refurbished several times since, is a mid-sized ship in Norwegian Cruise Line’s fleet, carrying around 2,300 passengers. Compared to the line’s newer mega-ships, it feels more manageable in scale, with a layout that’s straightforward to navigate and a style that mixes early-2000s design with updated touches from later refits.

One of the ship’s defining features is its “Freestyle Cruising” approach, with a wide variety of dining venues rather than fixed meal times.
