At ITA Airways, you can currently get a 25% discount on tickets to international destinations when departing from Italy. It is valid for departures between September 1, 2024, and March 15, 2025.
Sadly, the discount does not apply to taxes & fees. It discounts the airfare on economy class, premium economy and business class fares by 25%. Because the airfare only makes up a small percentage of economy class prices, it’s more rewarding to apply the code to premium fares. The discount code can be redeemed until July 25, 2024.
These codes only work on ITA Airways website when the departure city and country page align. For example, flights from the USA are only discounted in the American country page, but not on the Italian version and vice versa. The code above only works on the Italian version.
Here are some examples for good prices when using the discount code, but there are far more possible applications. The quoted fares work from almost any Italian airport:
Flights in premium economy:
- Rome – Jeddah for €487 (nonstop)
- Milan – Riyadh for €586
- Milan – Bangkok for €846
- Naples – Tokyo at €1,100
- Turin – Rio de Janeiro for €1,107
- Rome – Buenos Aires for €1,287 (nonstop)

About ITA Airways
ITA Airways raised from the ashes of Alitalia in late 2021. The airline took over most of the short-haul network and aircraft of its predecessor but made some major changes to long-haul operations. Except for daily service to New York, ITA gave up Milan’s Malpensa airport as a hub and focused on Rome Fiumicino for international and Milan Linate for European and domestic flights.
Just like Alitalia, ITA is a member of the SkyTeam Alliance. Unfortunately, of many SkyTeam customers, only a few fellow members credit flights operated by the Italian carrier. Currently, you can earn Miles with Virgin Atlantic and Korean Air when taking an ITA flight. Over the last few months, FlyingBlue has also decided to credit ITA tickets. But other major SkyTeam programs like Delta SkyMiles downright ignore flights operated by their Southern European companion.

You can still strike very good bargains, as ITA is constantly among the cheapest options for business flights between Spain and the United States. Prices are competitive on other routes, as well. Not only that, ITA’s board service is among the best of European airlines – including cabin bags in all fare types and offering free beverages, even on the shortest domestic flights.

The ITA prices are so high, even with the discount code.
“Major SkyTeam programs like FlyingBlue and Delta SkyMiles downright ignore flights operated by their Southern European companion.”
Just as an update, FlyingBlue is crediting it now for most flights. 🙂
Hi Christian! Thank you for rightfully pointing it out. I have fixed the passage.
Kann ich bei einer Buchung für 2500 mehrere gift cards a 500 eingeben oder jeweils nur eine?🙄
