All itineraries have at least one stop in Beijing or Shanghai. An Airbus A350-900 takes you from Milan to China, a flight that uses the direct route over Russian airspace. Flights from Rome are Boeing 787-9 services to Beijing. Most connections are operated with varying members of Air China’s widebody fleet, too.
Most European passport holders can visit Hong Kong for up to 90 days visa-free. The same applies to Taiwan.
