Uganda: €293 Brussels Airlines Flights from Budapest to Entebbe (€389 with Luggage)

Brussels Airlines currently offers an exciting deal for flights to Entebbe in the East African country of Uganda. Round-trip flights from Budapest start at only HUF 113,400 (~€290). This price includes 8 kg of hand luggage plus a personal item, and the Basic fare with 23 kg of luggage is available for HUF 150,400 (~€385).

Availability is good from August to November 2024. The months of August and September are considered a better travel time for Uganda, as the rainy days are limited during this period.


A visa is required for entry into Uganda, which can be applied online for US$50 (~€46).

Changes are theoretically allowed but come with fees of approximately €200 plus the price difference. Alternatively, if you do not embark on the journey, you can request a refund of taxes and “real” fees (approximately 130€).

The journey begins with Airbus jets of the A320 family from Budapest to Brussels. From there, after about 2 hours of layover, you’ll continue your journey to Entebbe in an Airbus A330. There, the typical 2-4-2 arrangement with a seat pitch of 81 cm is available.

Depending on the day of the week, there is a stop in either Bujumbura (Burundi) or Kigali (Rwanda). This stop is omitted on the return, but there is an 8-hour layover in Brussels.

The duration of the offer is unknown. However, around €300 is a very good price for flights to Uganda, so those interested should not hesitate for too long. There seems to be no minimum stay requirement, nor is there an upper limit on the length of stay.
