The Route

The cruise begins in the Greek port city of Piraeus, located roughly 10 kilometres from Athens. The first stop is Thessaloniki, Greece’s second-largest city, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988. Thessaloniki boasts numerous historical landmarks from early Christian, Byzantine, and post-Byzantine times. The Celebrity Infinity stays overnight in the port, giving you extra time for exploration.

Next, the ship heads to Kusadasi, Turkey—a popular resort destination with many seafood restaurants near the harbour. Alternatively, you can visit the archaeological site of Ephesus. The following stop is Limassol, Cyprus. This city impresses visitors with its charming old town featuring narrow alleys and local markets. Among the historical landmarks is the Temple of Apollo.

The journey then returns to Greece, where the itinerary includes visits to the islands of Rhodes and Crete, as well as Nauplia. On the 11th day, the ship returns to Piraeus, with disembarkation scheduled for the following morning. This 12-day journey allows you to explore three different countries. During the two sea days, you can relax and enjoy the onboard amenities.

The Ship

The Celebrity Infinity is over 20 years old but still feels modern, thanks to a 2011 upgrade inspired by the Solstice class and additional renovations in 2015. Built at Meyer Papenburg in Germany, it was considered a state-of-the-art luxury ship at its launch, featuring competitive cabins and advanced technology. The ship’s electric pod propulsion system and stabilizers ensure a smooth travel experience.

The ship includes both outdoor pools and a covered pool under a large glass dome. The deck’s premium design and Celebrity’s signature amenities create a relaxing atmosphere.
