In March 2025, the Costa Fortuna will leave the Caribbean and return to the Mediterranean for the upcoming summer season. You can join this cruise from Guadeloupe to Barcelona at an affordable price, with 14 nights in an interior cabin starting at just €549 per person. For an additional charge, ocean-view cabins are available from €749, and balcony cabins start at €999 (per person, based on double occupancy).

Onboard, all meals are included in the main and buffet restaurants, as well as access to most ship facilities. Gratuities are also covered, so there’s no need to worry about extra tipping. If water and tea in the buffet restaurant aren’t enough, you can purchase other drinks individually or opt for a drink package.
The Route
The cruise begins on the Caribbean island of Guadeloupe. After departing, the Costa Fortuna heads to Kingstown, the capital of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, located on the island’s southern coast. Nearby, you can visit one of the locations of the film Pirates of the Caribbean. Next, the ship continues to Bridgetown, Barbados, which offers numerous shopping opportunities and exciting nightlife.
Following these stops, you’ll enjoy six relaxing days at sea on the Atlantic Ocean. During this time, you can unwind and take advantage of the ship’s amenities. The next port of call is Tenerife in the Canary Islands, followed by Funchal on Madeira. These Atlantic islands are known for their stunning landscapes and mild climate. The final stop is Cádiz on mainland Spain before the cruise concludes in Barcelona after two full weeks.

Getting to Pointe-à-Pitre
To get to Guadeloupe, flying from France is generally the best option, with fares that include luggage being available for less than €400 thanks to many airlines that specialize on these routes, such as Air Caraibes. From other parts of Europe, Air Canada is one of the cheaper options, though less direct.
Here are some examples of what you’d roughly pay, including a carry-on and 23 kg of checked luggage:
- From Paris: €399 with Air Caraibes
- From Oslo: €539 with Air Canada
- From Stockholm: €576 with Air Canada
