This April, the Costa Pacifica will return to Europe after having spent a couple of months in the South American summer. If you want to be on board while it crosses the Atlantic for 2 weeks, you can currently get a cabin for only €727 per person. All meals and tips are included in that price.

The Route
This 15-day transatlantic journey offers a mix of relaxing sea days and fascinating stops. Departing from Recife, Brazil, the cruise crosses the Atlantic, with several days at sea to unwind and enjoy the ocean views.
The first stop is Praia, Cape Verde, known for its unique blend of African and Portuguese influences. After more time at sea, the itinerary continues to Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the Canary Islands, offering a chance to explore volcanic landscapes.
From there, visit Lisbon, Portugal, a city rich in history and culture, followed by Cadiz, Spain, the gateway to Seville. The cruise wraps up with stops in Barcelona and Marseille, two vibrant Mediterranean cities with plenty to explore.

- April 14: Marseille (arrives at 9:00)
The Ship
Completed in 2009 at Fincantieri shipyard and renovated in 2017, the Costa Pacifica is 290 meters long and 36 meters wide. The ship (Concordia class) has enough cabins for around 3,800 passengers and another 1,100 crew members can be accommodated across its 13 decks. The production of the ship cost about 450 million euros.
All Costa ships’ official onboard languages are German, Italian, and English. The currency used on board is the euro. On the ship, there are, among other things, 6 restaurants (e.g. Japanese & Italian) and 11 bars, 9 pools and whirlpools, a spa and wellness area (approx. 6,000 square meters), Grand Prix simulator, recording studio, theatre, casino, discotheque, Fitness centre, sports field, outdoor jogging course and much more.





Getting to Recife
Recife has its own airport, and although not many European airlines fly to Recife, most airlines do have a codeshare agreement with Brazilian airlines such as Azul or GOL to get you there. These are some of the current prices for one-way tickets, including luggage:
